FAQs

If you have any questions that are not answered below feel free to reach out to us or our families prior to the wedding weekend!
Question

COVID - how are we handling it? What to expect?

Answer

This is probably the burning question on everyone's mind. We were initially hopeful that COVID would have minimal impact on our celebration; however, here we are... As of August 2021: Given the COVID surge due to the Delta variant, the City of New Orleans is now mandating all individuals have at least one dose of the vaccine for indoor dining and activities. WE are asking that all our guests are fully vaccinated at least 2 weeks prior to attending our wedding. Please reach out with any questions or concerns in regards to this.

Question

Do I need proof of my COVID vaccination?

Answer

Yes! New Orleans is currently requiring patrons to show proof of vaccination (an image of both sides of your card is typically acceptable) or a negative PCR test for any indoor events, dining, bars etc.

Question

Are Kids Invited?

Answer

We love all your children; however, we want our wedding night to be your night off! Unless otherwise indicated (ie. our young cousins) we ask you to leave your kids home for the night and put your best dancing shoes on!

Question

Can I bring a Date?

Answer

If your invitation says “and Guest,” or addresses your significant other specifically then yes, if not, we would prefer if it was just you. Our guest capacity will determined by city-wide guidelines closer to the wedding date and will largely influence the +1 situation.

Question

What's the Dress Code?

Answer

It's New Orleans, so come as you please! That being said we anticipate most guests will be wearing cocktail attire. Comfortable dancing shoes are always recommended!
