Brewery's in the surrounding areas
If you don't mind a bit of a drive there are a ton of Breweries, vineyards and distilleries along Afton Mountain, all with delicious food, great drinks, and even better views!
Hiking the Blue Ridge
Hiking was one of our favorite part about living in VA. If you are the adventurous type then I would not pass on the opportunity to hike the beautiful mountains surrounding this area!
Downtown Lynchburg
There are tons of restaurants and bars within walking distance of each other all along the river walk. If you are looking to enjoy the beautiful spring VA weather you can walk along the Blackwater creek trail, a 3 mile paved trail along the James river, or you can rent a bike at the Blackwater bike shop and ride on the trail.
Blur Ridge Parkway
There are many hiking trails along the parkway, make sure to bring some hiking boots and enjoy the many beautiful peaks of the Blueridge!
