What will the weather be like?

Answer

I seriously hope it will be nice... however, it could be a bit chilly as it is Autumn, so bring something warm to cover up with. I chose the venue largely because it is weather-proof, so do not worry too much. Dinner and likely the ceremony will be inside depending on the weather. Averages for Varese in October are between 9 and 19c, and it's not rainy season, fingers crossed. Last year it was T shirt weather in October! Update a week before: it's not looking good bruv. Pack some woolies and waterproofs.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes, there is plentiful parking at the venue, however you cannot park there overnight. If you want to leave your car overnight you should park elsewhere. We recommend Autosilo Sempione, see the travel section.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Yes, formal / cocktail. Basically, nice dresses / suits. Suits don't have to be black, ties / bowties are optional. Ladies, wear what makes you happy but DO NOT WEAR WHITE, I will be mad. Also ladies, if we're a similar size feel free to borrow something of mine, my wedding guest wardrobe is extensive and underutilized - just drop me a text. How about gifts?

We have also attended a lot of weddings lately and understand how financially draining it can be to attend at all, so please don't feel obliged to give us money or a gift. In terms of traditional physical gifts, the reality is that we have lived together for quite a long time - we have (almost - is there any true limit?) all of the KitchenAid and Le Crueset objects we could want. You are of course welcome to buy us something physical but we would be extremely happy to receive money in lieu, to go towards what looks like it may be a rather expensive honeymoon given post-covid travel costs.

Can I bring my kids?

Answer

Yes, if there is space in your invite, please RSVP also for them. There is a kids play room at the venue but children cannot be left alone there, so if you want to ditch them and party please arrange a babysitter to attend. Please keep a close eye on your kids at the wedding, particularly during the ceremony. I have heard some horror stories on Tik Tok recently!!

Question

Why wasn't my spouse / partner / child invited?

Answer

They probably were, you just need to go and enter your own name to RSVP and they will come up. I was just too lazy to individually email everyone and their partners / kids, so its an email per couple / family. If they or an option to add a plus one don't come up, please contact me (Alice). Please note that as much as I'd like to, I can't give everyone a plus one / allow every entire family to come.
