What time should I arrive?

Answer

Please arrive 15 minutes prior to start time to give ample time to say hello and find your seat before the music begins at 5:00pm.

How far is the reception site from the ceremony location?

Answer

We wanted to make things as easy as possible for our guests. Everything is on the grounds of Castle Hill Cider. The ceremony will be outside and we will move inside for the reception.

What time will the reception end?

Promptly at 11:00pm. We hope that you stay to the end to be part of our official send off as husband and wife!

What if 11:00 pm hits and we aren't done celebrating?

Answer

We hope to continue celebrating with you on Saturday! If you can stick around, we'll be stopping at three different breweries/wineries in the area. We'd love to see you at all three or just one to recap the wedding night and give final hugs to say goodbye! 1. 12:30 - 1:30pm - Hazy Mountain Winery & Brewery 2. 1:50 - 3:15pm - Devil's Backbone 3. 3:20 - 5:05pm - Bold Rock Cider

What should we wear?

Answer

We want you to have fun on our big day so please make sure you dress the part. Be pretty and comfortable ladies. There will be grass and gravel so fancy flats or wonderful wedges are fine. Gents, a jacket and tie would be lovely, but please feel free to take them off after the formalities. Bring your dancing shoes!

It looks like your ceremony is outdoors (it is!). What happens if it rains?

Answer

Do not worry! In case of rain, Castle Hill has an amazing loft in the barn that we will use for the ceremony. We do not expect our favorite friends and family to sit in the rain!

Will parking be available?

Answer

Yes! There is ample free parking at the venue directly in front of the beautiful barn. Feel free to leave your car overnight and pick it up in the morning! All cars must be moved by Saturday at 11am. Remember you can also hop on a shuttle at one of the hotels to avoid driving on the dark, winding Charlottesville roads!

Who can I bring with me?

Answer

We love ALL your children and take interest in your love lives! However, in order to keep our guest list on track we are only able to accommodate those guests formally invited on your invitation and RSVP. Please feel free to reach out with any questions!

Do you have a wedding registry?

Answer

Your presence at our wedding is a gift enough. We know the majority of our friends and family are traveling out of state and we recognize the large financial responsibility that carries - thank you for coming to celebrate with us! But because you asked, we are registered at several stores. Please visit our registry page for all the details.

What is the dinner for the evening?

Answer

Cocktail hour will immediately follow the ceremony. When you receive your invitation, we ask that you make a dinner choice and include it with your RSVP. Don't worry, we'll have something other than Brad's go-to order of nachos :)
