We've gone to concerts and movie nights at Red Rocks Amphitheater. You can walk around the grounds, explore the trails, and view the rock formations and colors. This is a good activity for Friday or Saturday morning!
We love the hikes in the Evergreen area. Please use AllTrails to find hikes that fit your length and level. This is a good activity for Friday or Saturday morning!
For guests with more time in Colorado, we recommend spending a few days at Rocky Mountain National Park! Estes Park is RMNPs neighbor with good restaurants and trails of its own. Our favorite place to eat after a long day in the park is Himalayan Curry and Kabob. We also advise making reservations at https://www.recreation.gov/timed-entry/10086910 or arriving extremely early to get into the park.
Garden of the Gods is a cool spot to view unique rock formations an hour south of Denver. You can spend a day on their well maintained trails - be sure to bring sunscreen and water on a hot summer day. Pikes Peak in the same area offers access to a Colorado 14er by cog railway or car.
These two parks are our favorites in Denver! They both have amazing views of the mountains and lots of activity during the day. These are good activities for Friday or Saturday morning! Wash Park: Here we like to spend time grilling and playing sports in our free time. City Park: This is Denver's largest park located just across the street in our neighborhood. Views from the pavilion and a walk around Ferril lake is our favorite way to spend an hour. For a bite to eat, we like to stop at Yahya's and Saucy Bombay for lunch.
