Middleton Lodge is a Georgian estate, built in 1777, set on 200 acres - and it is our wedding venue! The property boasts a beautiful spa, two great restaurants and amazing guest rooms. Our wedding will be held in the Main House. There are also lots of activities on the property such as bicycle check outs and skeet shooting. Brompton Lakes is one of our favorite places on the planet! Just a 10 minute car ride from the venue it is nestled between array of lakes and River Swale. This property contains 21 self-catering, 3 bedroom, luxury lodges. This stunning property is where we recommend you stay if you plan on being in the area for a few days or more. There is a minimum 3 night stay requirement to reserve a lodge. We will be providing a shuttle to and from the venue on the day of the wedding for our guests, so don't worry about transportation on that day! 3 night reservations work out to be approximately $250/night for your own lodge - this is a great option if you want to share a lodge with other couples or if you have a family and plan on staying a day or two on either side of the wedding!

If you are looking for a larger rentals (3 bedrooms or more for our traveling families) or something in the town of Richmond we recommend using Holiday at Home to reserve your property. They are beautiful, self-catering, 5 star residences that you get completely to yourself! Think AirBNB - royal family style! Prices range depending on the size and duration of your stay, but are comfortable and affordable for our families making the trip across the pond. All of their residences are located in the Richmond area.

There are so many beautiful and quaint Bed and Breakfasts in the town of Richmond and surrounding villages. If you want to shop around and look at different price points we recommend using Expedia to find the best deals. You can find 3, 4 and 5 star Bed and Breakfasts in this area. Chain hotels will be difficult to find in this part of the country, but there is a Holiday Inn for those that would prefer to stay at a hotel chain.
