Wedding Party

Karli Denk

Maid of Honor

Karli and I met during our freshman year of college, when I begged her to be my friend and she ignored me. Don't ask her, she doesn't remember. Since she literally crashed into me at the dorm drinking fountain we've been best friends. As the most genuinely kind and giving person I know, she has been there for me whenever I needed her (i.e. running out of class to drive me to the emergency room). Through the ups and downs of the past 10 years we've been each other's platonic soul mates and I can't think of anyone else who I'd rather be by my side during my wedding day.

Cody "The Legendary" Peterson

Best Man

Cody has been a great friend for more than half my life. It's hard to describe him in just a few sentences, but a couple things I for sure know about this man is his love for bidets and mushroom coffee. Cody and I have always treated each other like brothers and we both have been adopted into each other's families. Some may find his cody-isms annoying, but they often get a laugh out of me. From our humble beginnings as fierce rivals, to glorious blossoms of brotherhood, I know Cody will always be there as my best friend and brother.

Monica Murray

Bridesmaid

Monica and I were briefly next door neighbors in the dorms, both neuroscience majors. We reconnected our junior year and bonded over giving meth to rats. When we graduated, we both landed jobs as research coordinators for a dysfunctional department. The only way I survived that job was through being able to vent to her and our monthly cafeteria salad dates. Even after I left to go to school, I am so grateful that we have been able to keep in touch states apart. I love catching up with her when I'm in town and watching her son get bigger. While we once just watched rats on drugs together, we have grown into close friends and I'm so happy she will be apart of this milestone.

Haley Simpson

Bridesmaid

I met Haley when she was only 15 years old as my brother's first girlfriend. I am lucky Kyle had the good sense to hang onto her, because she has become a member of our family and like the little sister that I wanted to trade a brother for. I watched her grow up and got to witness her big life events like her college graduation, wedding, and most recently her delivery of the cutest baby. With the patience of a saint to deal with Kyle's shenanigans, her sweet personality makes me glad to have her as a bridesmaid and a sister.

Kevin "The Mythical" Owens

Groomsman

When I first met Kevin at the wise age of 5, I knew we would be lifelong friends. From being late in class in first grade because we were pretending to have epic battles as our favorite fictional characters to when we moved out together for the first time, we've been through it all. Reminiscing about all of the laughs and good memories of our first apartment will always be a highlight of my life. Even after reconnecting after a few years, Kevin and I were able to pick up our friendship like no time has passed.

Kyle "The Fabled" Simpson

Groomsman

I have not known Kyle that long, but you don't need to in order to see how great of a man he is. From his fabled recorder skills to his subtle jokes. He just became a father and seeing him come into his own as a dad has been wonderful to witness. I am more than thankful to be marrying into his family and ecstatic to be an uncle to his lil Elliot.

Elliot Simpson

Ring Bearer

LOOK AT THAT PRECIOUS FACE. While this sweet boy has only been around for 6 months, he has the whole family completely enamored. I make trips back to Colorado mostly for this little guy and frequently look at pictures of him to make my day better. He will clearly be the world's best ring bearer with his talents of eating, sleeping, crying, and pooping. We wouldn't trust anyone else with the job.

Norah Woolridge

Flower Girl

Norah is so full of spirit and energy, however, she is a little shy. Once she warms up to you, her smile will fill your soul with cheeriness. She loves outdoor activities and is even taking after her uncle and dabbles in soccer. What a joy she brings to every place she is in and I am so happy she'll be a flower girl for us.

Anna Woolridge

Flower Girl

Anna has such a strong personality and will make sure that you know it. Her laugh will always brighten your day and she gives the best hugs this side of the Mississippi. From breaking her wrist to losing her her front teeth a little too early, nothing will stop this girl from having fun. Her personality gleams so bright and she will shine a brilliant light on our wedding day.

Ruby Woolridge

Flower Girl

This girl will steal your heart with her smile. She will quickly overwhelm you with cuteness and she knows it. She is a ham and will never turn down an opportunity to take a selfie with you. She can't help but be full of happiness and has the wonderful talent of spreading it to everyone she meets. I have no doubt she will steal the show as one of our flower girls.

June

Dog of Honor

This little terror goes by many names, but is formally known as Judith P. Noodles, Esquire. She has been in our lives for 2 years and has given us many laughs and gray hairs. She is most known for her feral habits of eating poop, stealing socks, and standing on the kitchen table when we are not home. While she is definitely not invited to the wedding because of her naughty behavior, the little idiot is the light of our lives and will be there in spirit.
