We went here early on when we were dating and then later got engaged at the top of the dam in March of 2020. It is a fun spot with hikes of varying lengths not too far from Larkspur.

Castlewood Canyon State Park

We have stayed here multiple times and hiked the area. It is a beautiful site and well worth visiting if you aren't from the area.

Garden of the Gods

This is such a beautiful zoo and giraffe feeding here is a must!

Cheyenne Mountain Zoo

For Danny's 26th birthday, we went to an otter encounter here where we got to watch the otters do tricks.

Downtown Aquarium

Okay, this isn't really Colorado specific, but Danny and I went here for Valentine's day and you can't go wrong with melted cheese.

The Melting Pot

Another zoo we love going to. The budgie feeding enclosure is one of Danny's favorites.

Denver Zoo

The tallest peak in Colorado! We went here on a group hike with Cody and Kayla and accidentally went up the hardest trail. This is a beautiful hike and there are trails that aren't too difficult.
