This is one touristy must for any first-timers in Athens! You can get a guided tour or explore on your own. We would recommend going early in the morning or later in the day to avoid crowds.
The Acropolis Museum, one of the most important museums in the world, houses the findings of only one archaeological site, the Athenian Acropolis. Located in the historic area of Makryianni, the Museum stands about 300 meters southeast of the Parthenon. The top floor of the Museum, the Parthenon Gallery, offers a panoramic view of the Acropolis and modern Athens.
A beautiful area in the center of Athens where you can find luxury designer stores, lunch spots and stunning historic buildings.
Take a dip in the healing, mineral-rich waters of Lake Vouliagmeni. We encourage visitors to book tickets and make reservations in advance, especially during peak seasons.
Glyfada's shopping district has a mixture of posh boutiques, popular stores (like H&M and Sephora), and trendy cafes and restaurants. We recommend taking an Uber to this area and putting the destination as the "Nespresso Boutique" located at the following address: Grigoriou Lampraki 18, Glifada 166 74, Greece and walking from there!
There are endless public beaches to choose from on the Athenian Riviera. We recommend asking your hotel for the nearest beach for your convenience. Some popular beaches are Vouliagmeni Beach & Okeanida Beach! If you are staying at the Divani Apollon Palace & Thalasso, there is private beach access.
