When thinking about our wedding, we knew we wanted to create an experience for our guests and we wanted to give everyone something to look forward to. With James being Greek (fun fact - his middle name is Dimitri!), getting married in Greece was a no brainer! We fell in love with Athens—a city that is blessed with ancient treasures, but also modern-day gems. Athens is one of the oldest cities in the world, with views of the Acropolis towering over you, reminding you of the city's rich cultural and historical past. When you think of water in Greece, you automatically think of the islands. The lesser known riviera portion of Athens is a hidden gem with jaw-dropping views of the Aegean Sea for miles called the Athenian Riviera. Named after Athena, the goddess of wisdom and courage, this area in Greece overflows with character and culture. We immediately knew we wanted to get married here and we hope you love it as much as we do!
