Sunset Beach on Treasure Island

Quiet. Local. Nestled along the southern tip of Treasure Island, Sunset Beach offers seclusion and romance for your Florida beach wedding. This island is one mile long and mostly residential, so you can escape the high rise hotel atmosphere. Anchored by mounds of sea oats and jetties of rocks, by far, this beach has divine elements for your Sunset Beach Wedding.Best spot for privacy for your Sunset Beach Wedding is at the southern point, near the Sunset Beach Pavilion. This covered beach clubhouse can be rented for the day/evening and makes a nice venue for hosting a Florida Beach Wedding Reception, or as an alternative plan in the event of rain. Several boardwalks connect the mainland to the sand, which make perfect walkways for the couple to make their entrance. Love the seclusion and rock jetty, ideal for smaller weddings (35 or less) due to narrow and eroding shorelines, as well as limited parking for guests. Permit fee begins at $250.

Anna Maria Island

Anna Maria Island is considered one of the most romantic Florida beach wedding destinations, a perfect choice for a beach wedding. It's is an easy 1 1/2-hour drive from the Tampa airport. Boasting a pristine seven miles of beach, the island’s natural beauty is a testament to the restricted development codes-no building is over three stories. An Anna Maria Island Wedding is intriguing for those looking to unplug from a world often running at high speed. You will not find hotels, fast food, wi-fi hotspots or chain establishments on the island, instead locally owned conveniences ranging from shabby to chic. The island is filled with beach homes and condos for rent, some on the sand, providing a convenient wedding spot for you. If you are interested in unwinding on a romantic getaway, you have found the spot. Lots of natural vegetation and tall pine trees still exist, making this island feel more natural, less commercialized. $375 location fee applies.

Siesta Key

Beautiful white sandy beach!

Siesta Key is known for having the whitest and finest sand in the world and for hosting Sarasota beach weddings every day of the year. Located 1.5 hours south of Tampa Bay. Very popular and crowded, so plan ahead to secure your slice of heaven on this beach. Sarasota Beach wedding location and permit fee of $625 applies, with 3 zones to choose from at the main beach area -948 Beach Rd. Scheduling with the county is required due to the abundance of Siesta Key beach weddings each and every day.

Lido Key

Gorgeous and secluded!

Lido Key is just north of Siesta Key and a 1/2 mile south of St. Armand’s Circle, a well known strip for shopping and dining. Smaller than Siesta, Lido Key’s beaches pack a surprising variety into a compact area. Three wedding zones to choose from, though our favorite is the southern tip of Lido, known as South Lido. Beautiful mix of greenery & soft white sand! Definitely more secluded than Siesta Key!

Clearwater Beach

For the young at heart, this popular beach is ideal for wedding parties seeking to have fun while in town. Choose from dozens of restaurants and beach activities that will add adventure to your Clearwater Beach Wedding. Clearwater Beach is highly commercialized, with a plethora of beachfront hotels, restaurants, night life and water sports, making it a hot spot for families and spring breakers. Deep sea fishing, boating and parasailing are highlights. The sand is powdery soft and white, and the beach is extremely wide. Beach volleyball tournaments are popular as well. Permit fee is $250, but be prepared for crowded beaches and photo bombers. There is a constant celebration mood in this town, so if you are up for adventure, come say “I Do” on the wildest Gulf Coast beach.

Sand Key Park

Beautiful water and park setting!

Sand Key Park is a sliver of sanity amid the Clearwater madness! You can see the Clearwater Beach hotels across the channel, you hear nothing but the sound of the water coming ashore. The sands are nothing like the white powdery sands of other beaches, more grainy and park-like so keep this in mind when making your decision. Sand Key has 8 boardwalks/zones to choose from with acres of trees in the background and a very long walk out to the water. Very quiet compared to Clearwater.

Indian Rocks Beach

Fun location for your beach wedding!

Just 20 minutes south of Clearwater Beach and 40 minutes north of St Pete Beach, you’ll find Indian Rocks Beach, a true beach town with plenty of beach cottages, low-rise condos and local restaurants. Lots of condos on the beach to rent for you and your wedding party, and we’ll host your Indian Rocks Beach Wedding directly behind your gulf front accommodations with permission from the owner, or we can also host your wedding at the main beach access at 1700 Gulf Blvd, Indian Rocks Beach.

St Pete Beach

Sugary-white sand and breath taking sunsets over emerald green waters make St Pete Beach a postcard-perfect seaside wedding destination. Hotels and boutique inns occupy the waterfront real estate, so our favorite wedding spots are 1 mile south on the more secluded piece of St Pete Beach, known as Pass-A-Grille Beach. St Pete offers great diversity with beautiful beaches on one side of the coast and just 15 minutes to the other coast is booming Downtown St Pete-offering one of a kind restaurants, wine bars, micro breweries, museums and live music all along the coastal waters of Tampa Bay. For couples seeking romance with a twist of adventure, choose to have a St Pete Beach wedding. A $250 wedding permit fee applies.

Treasure Island

Just north of St Pete Beach is Treasure Island, which has the widest beach on Florida’s west coast, boasting 3 miles of white sand bordered by the beautiful Gulf of Mexico. You can walk along the shoreline or take a stroll on the Treasure Island Beach Trail, a mile long walkway along the east side of the beach. The trail provides easy access to the hotels, bars and restaurants that embody the heart of Treasure Island’s ocean front hotel district. At the public beach access, it's quite a haul out to the water for you and your guests, making your wedding more physical than you may have envisioned. Permit fee begins at $250.

St Pete Garden Wedding

We specialize in beach weddings, but there are some pretty parks in St Pete if you are dreaming of a Florida Garden Wedding. Downtown St Pete Parks are nestled between the waters of Tampa Bay and exquisite dining options, only 15 minutes from St Pete Beach. Our wooden chocolate arbor and chandelier are the perfect backdrop for a St Pete Garden Wedding. Permit is required, fees starting at $125.

Madeira Beach

Madeira Beach, nestled between Clearwater and Pass-a-Grille, is a lesser-known gem. Tucked away amidst condos and residences, this stretch of sand offers a peaceful escape. Close to hotels, restaurants, and John’s Pass Village makes it an perfect for elopements, intimate gatherings, or couples having their reception at The West Events. We also utilize this beach for our all-inclusive West Side Affair & Grand Affair packages. Permit fee applies.

Pass-A-Grille Beach

Pass-A-Grille Beach Weddings are by far the most romantic! This beach area has no high-rise buildings and no hotels or restaurants on the sand, keeping it a unique slice of old Florida. Pass-A-Grille is home to some of the wealthiest residents, and the beach is one of nature’s finest, providing completely unobstructed views of the Gulf of Mexico. Pass-A-Grille sits at the southern tip of St Pete Beach, providing seclusion from the hustle and bustle of the busier beaches to the north.
