Situated in charming Utica, Ohio, Mill Street is a picture-perfect wedding venue with plenty to offer to-be-weds. This quaint rural vista boasts both indoor and outdoor event spaces for ceremonies, receptions, and other wedding-related events. Built in 1815, the old grist mill is rich in character and history, offering its unique qualities to couples and their guests. The space has been restored and renovated with modern comfort and finishings while staying true to its heritage and style.

Campbell Mill

The historic Campbell Mill is the tallest structure in Utica and was used to store, grind, and mix grain for local farmers.

This space is perfect for cocktail parties, rehearsal dinners and additional reception space with its front and back decks and views of the lawn, waterfall and operating water wheel. Long time residents often stop by and share memories of visiting Campbell Mill with their dads and grandads. We have converted the mill into upscale guest quarters while retaining many of its historical vestiges. From the back deck, guests enjoy views of the lawn, pond, waterfall, and 10ft water wheel. The upper floors of the mill feature 2 bedrooms, 2 baths, and great room with kitchenette/bar

The Meeting House

The Meeting House is our main indoor event space. Originally a 19th century timber frame, this barn has been updated with amazing architectural details and beautiful treasures from the property.

This heated and air conditioned building can accommodate up to 225 for a wedding ceremony or cocktail party and up to 175 for a sit- down dinner. The flooring in the event space is beautifully finished random width white oak; walls are finished in vintage barn siding. The backdrop for the ceremony/ head table is an early 20th-century carriage house door salvaged from a fine Cleveland mansion. Lighting is a combination of vintage and new with a dramatic chandelier in the center of the room. The main floor also includes a bar with a unique art glass ceiling, featuring remnants from the Utica glass factories, unearthed during project excavation; a catering kitchen with a dedicated entrance and exit; and ADA bathrooms. The staircase to the lower level features a beautiful 19th-century newel post and leads to men’s and women’s restrooms, a bridal suite with private bathroom and kitchenette/wet bar, and a groom’s locker room with private bathroom and adjacent speakeasy pub.

Mill Pond Lawn

Mill Pond Lawn is a beautiful option for an outdoor wedding and provides many photo opportunities.

The Mill Pond Lawn accommodates wedding receptions of up to 250. Stunning views of Campbell Mill, with its water wheel and waterfall, make this a favored wedding location and photo destination.

Mill House

It was built by the family that owned one of the handmade window glass companies for which Utica was known throughout the U.S.

Mill House, just a short walk from Mill Street, is a 4500 sq ft circa 1856 home featuring beautiful woodwork, 11 foot ceilings and a wrap around porch. This home provides just the right ambiance for special events up to 40 guests such as showers, rehearsal dinners and cocktail parties.
