California Country Club's beautiful banquet facilities in our classic clubhouse provide a wonderful way to celebrate your special occasion. We can accommodate large events as well as intimate gatherings. Our Event space is open to the public, but CCC members enjoy priority scheduling.

    My husband and I recently had our wedding at CCC and although we had fun, there were so many things that weren’t communicated to us and things we felt didn’t go the way we planned to have them go. For one, you cannot have open flame candles. I asked during our details meeting and was told I could have them as long as they were in hurricanes. So that’s what we bought. The candles were on when my husband and I got a sneak peek at the reception but when we made our entrance and sat for dinner, they were all blown out by the staff and nobody told us. Not even our coordinator. Felt like they thought we wouldn’t notice. I asked why and they said it’s a fire hazard but I was told we could. Otherwise I would’ve bought flameless. Second, the seating chart/table layout was wrong. I drew it out and had a whole floor plan mAde for them to follow and they still didn’t follow it. It was horrible table placement and by the time we saw it, it was too late to change it. I trusted the floorplan would be followed especially after going over it in our details meeting but it wasn’t. Third, the cake from meringue bakery looked like it was put together in 5 mins. No idea what kind of piping that was but it wasn’t what we wanted or picked out. Fourth, they told us the grass would be shaved down for the ceremony aisle and it wasn’t. Even after I asked if why it wasn’t shaved, they said the grass wasn’t green enough. But 2 days before during the rehearsal, we were reassured it would be. The communication was just so horrible. Don’t even get me started on the bar. There were just so many little things that weren’t communicated properly and I’m very disappointed. Especially after spending so much money on something you plan to go right. I will say our food was Delicious and the wait staff/bartenders were so nice. The problem is the management and coordinator. Major miscommunication.

    Mary-Anne was very helpful the whole way through. They did a vendor expo that made the decision-making process extremely easier. It was great that we did not have to go to another venue. Everything can take place there: ceremony & reception! Plenty of room for up to 200 guests. Beautiful scenery, very photogenic! No complaints on the food or appetizers. We took advantage of the full venue. We loved everything: it was perfect!
