Unwrapped & Uncorked Events is passionate about bringing your event vision to life and offers over a decade of expertise in the world of weddings. Planning a wedding can quickly become a full-time job and I strive to make sure the process is one that is positive and enjoyable. I truly love getting to know my couples as if I’m part of their families so I can provide a personalized level of service that meets each individual client’s needs. My goal is for you and your loved ones to go into your special day knowing that we have thought of every detail together and that you feel confident that everything is handled so you can live in the moment!

Planning is my passion and I don't like my couples feeling like just another wedding. I truly love getting to know them and put my heart and soul into their special day. I also feel very strongly that weddings aren't just about "the pretty". My goal on each wedding is to make sure we cover all logistics ahead of time in order for everything to run smoothly. My hotel event & conference services and catering has allowed to me to learn all aspects of what makes an event run smoothly.

The Unwrapped & Uncorked Events full-service package includes Kathryn by your side every step of the way during the planning process. This package is well-suited for our couples hosting a destination wedding in Austin, couples with busy schedules & careers of their own, or for those looking for guidance much earlier on in the process. Our goal is for wedding planning to be an enjoyable and provide you with a trusted Austin wedding expert.

We know every wedding is different and that some couples are looking for a package in-between our wedding management and full-service planning. We are happy to chat further to see how we can tailor a planning package that fits your wedding needs.

For couples handling the planning on their own, we always at least recommend having a professional assist you during the final months prior to the wedding and of course on the day-of. We usually call this package "Wedding Management" because having a savvy planner at your side earlier on in the process will save you stress and allow you to finalize the plans early so the month-of the wedding isn’t a mad dash to the finish.

    Kathryn went above and beyond for us!! We hired her as our day-of-coordinator for our wedding. She is extremely organized, detail-oriented, and she is the person you want by your side as you plan for your big day. The day before our wedding, I had forgotten to purchase flowers for the entrance, and she was so kind to get them for me and she even created a beautiful flower arrangement out of them. Thanks to her, my husband and I were able to celebrate with our families stress-free. Kathryn was so supportive throughout the whole process; she created an event timeline and confirmed with all vendors, she came to the rehearsal at the church, and she received all the rentals (the day before our wedding). She's the best, so consider yourself lucky if she's available for your wedding date.
