I have had the honor of working in the wedding industry for nearly 8 years now & have only recently branched off as an independent wedding planner. From your ceremony and reception to an engagement party or rehearsal dinner, let’s save you the stress & leave all the coordination to me!

Nice to meet you... My name is Monique Cunningham. I'm 30 years old, a proud mom of 2 beautiful rescue pups & happily married! My husband just so happens to own the most unique tropical rooftop escape, PufferFish, which just so happens to be a perfect place to take the after party! From wedding ceremonies and receptions to engagement parties and rehearsal dinners, I have executed over 300 events & personally coordinated 75 weddings. Your time is valuable & you deserve to enjoy every - single - moment.

    If you’re reading this and debating to hire Monique, here’s your answer. HIRE HER! We quickly realized that a day of coordinator was a necessity for our wedding, and we immediately realized that Monique was the perfect person for the job. Right from the initial consult, Monique put us at ease that our day was in good hands with her as our coordinator. She was available for communication when needed for the months prior, and met with us multiple times to ensure we were all on the same page for the wedding. Additionally, she even came to our rehearsal to make sure all went smoothly and all of our wedding party knew what to expect the day of. We had a decent amount of DIY decor for both the ceremony and reception, which was all executed perfectly by the guidance and hard work of Monique alongside other vendors. This included a full room flip in a small amount of time! Additionally, Monique got all of our decor from us during our rehearsal, and took it home with her the night of the wedding so she could bring it to us the next day (which was a huge help!). Ultimately, Monique was most valuable in the way she worked so hard to not only give us the perfect day, but also to make it completely stress free for us. We were able to truly enjoy all the special moments of our wedding day, and I know this would not have been the case if her didn’t have Monique. We will forever be thankful for Unique by Monique Weddings!!

    Lizzie, you're an absolute gem, thank you so much!! I'm truly never going to forget when your groom looked up with tears in his eyes & said "this is the best day of my life" ...but it was July 20, 2021 when the Milwaukee Bucks won the NBA Championship 😂 I trust now as a newly minted husband, Ryan has reorganized his 'best day' rankings to include your wedding day as #1! You two are so incredibly full of life and I don't think I have laughed or danced that much while packing up your things at the end of the night. 10/10 would go back in time and do it all over again!

    We had the BEST experience with Monique. We decided to hire her as our day-of coordinator about 2 months prior to our wedding because the stress of decorating the venue and keeping a timeline for the day was just too much for me. Monique SAVED US and helped create the best day of our lives! Her knowledge of the industry was so helpful with figuring out the small, last minute details when we met up about 6 weeks before the wedding. Her communication was great and she knew exactly what to do when we reached a bump in the road when it came to our rehearsal. She managed running our rehearsal and her ability to (patiently) corral our bridal party in order to remain on task was very impressive. Our wedding day ran so smoothly and my husband and I were able to fully enjoy the day and it is all thanks to Monique! You can tell that she loves what she does and she makes your day just as important to her as it is to you. Look no further, because Monique is your girl!

I was wondering why everyone was looking at me as I walked in with your card box and guest book from cocktail hour. The bartender filled me in afterwards, but it was so nice to get acknowledged.     I can't imagine my wedding day without Monique running the show! She is so incredibly easy to work with, listened to our vision and executed it perfectly. We showed up to the best day of our lives and didn't have to lift a finger. Her communication leading up to the day exceeded our expectations! The way she coordinated with our vendors and their individual timelines was second to none. The relief we felt going into our wedding week was such a weight lifted and it's all due to Monique.     To say we were blown away by Unique by Monique Weddings is an understatement! If we could give her 100 stars we would!! From the very beginning, Monique went above and beyond to ensure that our wedding day was everything we dreamed of and more. Her attention to detail, professionalism, and genuine care for our vision truly made our wedding day the best day of our lives! Walking into the venue (The Gage) and seeing our vision come together was nothing short of magical. She coordinated and communicated with our dream team of vendors, set up signage and decor beautifully, and ensured that we could focus on getting ready and truly being present with our family and friends. Monique went above and beyond the week before our wedding as well. Nick was sick, and we had a lot of last-minute tasks left to complete. Monique picked up and folded all of our table and welcome signage, making sure everything was ready without even mentioning it! Her calm and organized approach made us feel completely at ease, even during the very few stressful moments. If anything little did go wrong that day, we were not aware of it; she handled everything flawlessly! Not only was she efficient and on top of every detail, but she also brought a warm, personal touch to the entire process. We were pretty nervous about the prospect of wedding planning, and Monique consistently assured us that we were on track or ahead of schedule, checking in with us several times before the wedding. Monique has an amazing ability to bring a calm, considerate, and uplifting presence wherever she is. It was clear that she genuinely cared about making our day special, and we felt that throughout the entire process. She was also fantastic at coordinating our large families for pictures after the ceremony, ensuring that we could all stay on track and enjoy some of our cocktail hour!
