Mostly Becky Event Group was founded by Becky Thomas on the North Shore of Lake Superior in Minnesota. She found a passion for coming along side couples and families to ensure they could soak in such a memorable day. As Mostly Becky has grown, she extensively trains her team to be aware of the power we have to make others feel their best. Through the planning process and day of your event, Mostly Becky wants you to be and feel your best, so you can relish each moment and not be worried about the details. We are here to take care of you.

Best Wedding Planner in Des Moines
My wife and I hired Mostly Becky to do planning and design for our wedding in Des Moines, Iowa. We both had recently moved to Des Moines from Chicago, so we had about 200 guests coming from out of town and wanted to ensure that we had a magical wedding for them to attend. Mostly Becky delivered. Mostly Becky's professional team met with us at every step in the process. My wife had a strong vision of what she wanted the wedding to be like, the vibes, and many of the specifics. They were able to make our dreams a reality. I cannot imagine a more professional, competent, and reassuring group to make the stress of wedding planning go as smoothly as possible. If you are looking to hire a wedding planner in Des Moines (or anywhere else that Mostly Becky operates), lock them down early.
The best team ever!
Becky was absolutely amazing to work with. We planned our wedding during Covid and had many changes to our plans and Becky helped us navigate it all. Becky, Heather, and Kari were all there on our wedding day and I didn’t worry about a single thing. It was the most relaxed I had been and we can’t thank them enough!!! Becky and her team are top notch and you won’t regret hiring them.

As a wedding photographer I have worked with many wedding planners and coordinators and the Mostly Becky Team is hands down the best!! They make sure to communicate with all the vendors to make sure everybody is on the same page and even go out of their way to help in anyway that they can. All of the coordinators are super friendly and bubbly! Everytime one of my couples hire the Mostly Becky team I get super excited because I know their day will go off with no problems. Hire them TODAY!! I promise, you won't regret it!!
