Hi y'all! I'm Marian. I fell back in love with event planning while putting together my own wedding, so I decided to combine my professional experience with my personal passions to start Marian Frances Events. I tap into years of experience in the media industry in NYC planning events ranging from music festivals to award ceremonies, cocktail parties to tasting events to help couples and clients bring their dream parties to life. Marian Frances Events is now based in Charleston, SC, but still primarily serves the New York City AND Charleston markets. Currently booking for 2024.

I like to work with my clients to think outside the box and push the boundaries of what we have all come to think wedding planning must be. I like to have fun with the process. Who says you have to do everything the same way everyone else has? Let's shake things up a bit, have some fun, and bring your personality to life!

Description	This package allows me to be a true partner to you throughout the entire planning process. This is the full wedding planning package! This level of partnership is perfect for the couple who needs (or simply wants) full support and guidance throughout the planning process and into the wedding day.		I don't believe in "day-of coordination", but I offer a package called "month-of coordination", which is perfect for the couple who simply needs help putting all of their hard work together in the 30-60 days leading up to the wedding. I’ll be your partner in the final countdown to the wedding day!

I can't say enough wonderful things about Marian! Working with her is a delight, she brings such creative and innovative ideas to all of her events. She is warm, kind and treats her clients and vendors with the utmost respect. Marian makes the planning process super easy, she's extremely organized and will have your back every step of the way. When you work with Marian, you are in the best hands. She will not only be one of your favorites vendors, but she will also become a great friend.

The easiest response to this question is no, although I take on everything on a case by case basis! If I feel that I have the bandwidth to take on more than one in a weekend based on the circumstances (i.e. time of year, scope of the weddings, locations, etc), then I will consider it!

When you hire Marian Frances Events, you will be working with ME directly! I like to be hands on with all of my couples, and I only take on the number of weddings per year that I feel I personally have the time to dedicate to. I do work with a wonderful team of day-of coordinators and assistants though to help me bring your vision to life on wedding day! The more hands the merrier!

Absolutely! These are always add-on options to any of my packages.

I work with my couples in the ways that they work best! I prefer detailed email exchanges and Zoom calls, but if you are working with me, you do not need to expect to be in touch every single week. We touch base as needed and based on our timeline.
