Hey there! We are so excited you stumbled upon our little corner of the wedding and event world! Working out of Howard County, Maryland and servicing the DMV and Eastern Shore, LoKel provides day-of coordination for the couple who has done most of the "ground work" and just needs a little help bringing it all together so you can focus on your day. Lauren (Lo) and Kelsey come together with their creative spark and years of experience in the wedding and events industry to bring your dreams to life. From grand ballrooms to backyard simplicity, the gals at LoKel have certainly done it all. We cant wait to meet you!

We know just how hard you've worked when choosing your venue, vendors, guest list, etc. As coordinators, it's our job to make your dream come to life. Our couples aren't just our clients, they become some of the most important and cherished people in our lives! With experience in restaurant and bar management, large scale hotel venue sales, and years of event and wedding management, LoKel provides a dynamic and thoughtful approach to coordination and management.     I got engaged on January 30th, 2024, and was married just a few short months later on May 18th, 2024. As a first-time bride trying to plan a wedding in such a condensed time frame, I was incredibly nervous, especially since I was trying to keep costs down. After securing my vendors and working on my timeline, it quickly became clear that there was no way I could enjoy my wedding day while worrying about coordinating every little detail myself. The sheer number of moving parts and tiny details was overwhelming. Enter Lauren and Kelsey. I had seen their work before as they were the coordinators for a friend’s wedding where I was a bridesmaid, and they did such an amazing job that I knew they were the perfect choice for my own wedding. Even though my venue provided a day-of coordinator, I realized that she (also so amazing at what she does) would be too focused on venue-specific duties like managing food and the bar to handle the full execution of my timeline, coordinate with outside vendors, or deal with the unexpected hiccups that inevitably arise. And those hiccups did arise. My bustle ripped, and Lauren literally crawled under my dress to fix it. We forgot to pick up the wedding cake, but they had it sorted. It even rained, and they navigated the situation flawlessly, all while managing family dynamics and calming me during moments when I felt completely overwhelmed. Your wedding day flies by, and before you know it, it's over. I am so thankful that I got to be present, enjoy every moment, and soak in the day without a single worry—thanks to Lauren and Kelsey. In just one month, they picked up every little piece of my 1,000-piece wedding puzzle and put it together seamlessly. Everything we envisioned, they made it a reality. Words really can’t describe how much value they provided. If you want to actually enjoy your wedding day, hire Lauren and Kelsey. They are simply the best. P.S. They even went the extra mile by bringing all the decorations, leftover food, gifts, and more back to our house, allowing us to head straight to our after-party without a worry. The picture below is one we got from them at home with our pups, whom they kindly took out for a potty break after the wedding. I seriously love these girls!

    LoKel kept our wedding afloat (literally). From our first meetings to the day of, these two ladies were exactly what us as a clueless couple needed. They asked the questions that we would have never thought to have figured out while completely being supportive of our vision of a wedding. LoKel was able to help us navigate the unexpected Hurricane Ian for our outdoor at home wedding and helped ensure the most fun for our guests and us. They spent the whole morning setting up and I assume problem solving (because if there were any, LoKel took care if it without us knowing) I'd plan ANY event with these two and would encourage any of you to do the same.

    We had LoKel events get involved about 30 days before our wedding. They took over all communication with the vendors and asked us about all the small details we had forgotten and nice extras. This took a huge weight off our shoulders close to the date and they really got on board with how we wanted things to run. Having Kelsey and Lauren at the wedding meant that none of our family and friends had to worry about anything and they were extremely discreet. There were issues we heard about after the wedding that we had no idea about during, Kelsey and Lauren had taken care of everything that was going wrong and corrected it without ever needing to worry us on our big day. Without hiring LoKel events I am sure a lot of things would have gone wrong or not the way we wanted, and it would have caused extra stress. Best decision ever!
