My love for wedding planning began through my love of reading. In middle school, I read a book whose main characters were wedding planners and from then on I was in love with the idea of planning weddings for a living. My dream became a reality in 2020 when I finally went off on my own and created Livvy Marie Weddings. With over 10+ years of experience in the field and education from UCF and Rosen Hospitality Management, and now my own business, I have had the honor of helping numerous couples plan and live the wedding of their dreams. I cannot wait to help you with yours!
Here at Livvy Marie Weddings, we love to specialize in fandom weddings. No wedding or event theme is too extreme, and we love to see fandoms that our couples love come to life on their special day, and make their event that much more magical.

Description | Full wedding planning and event design. Includes unlimited communication, day of coordination, and assistance every step of the way during the wedding planning process. | Our Embellishment services allow couples to pick and choose which services they would like to have in order to either create a custom package or only have a planner for certain tasks for their wedding/event. Service options include: set up/tear down only, wedding shower or brunch coordination, rehearsal coordination only, travel coordination, wedding speeches or vow assistance, etc. | Partial planning includes unlimited communication, some venue/vendor research and booking, wedding timeline creation, rehearsal and on-site day of coordination, Set up/Tear down, etc. This package is perfect for couples who have most of their planning done, but want just a little extra help with the finer details and connecting with vendors. | Day of coordination includes vendor coordination, on-site coordination, timeline creation, rehearsal attendance, and unlimited communication starting 30-45 days prior to your event date. I wish I would have known better
My photographer left a review stating that our vision was executed “perfectly” and this couldn’t be further from the truth. We hired Olivia from LivvyMarie Weddings as our Day-of Coordinator because I often plan family events and was comfortable handling the planning, design, and décor for my own wedding. While the wedding she coordinated was nice, it was far from the beautiful and well-thought-out vision we had spent so much time creating. I was completely shocked by how things turned out, especially considering the impressive work she showcases. I don’t know what went wrong or why my wedding, of all the ones she’s worked on, was the one that fell short. She handled our ceremony well, which gave me confidence that our reception—the part of the wedding where most of the budget was spent—would be just as seamless. Unfortunately, I didn’t realize how poorly the décor was executed until my husband and I made our grand entrance. The reception florals weren’t cohesive because she never went over décor details with us—something that should have been a priority. In our attempt to make things easier, my husband and I carefully packed the van in a way that ensured a smooth, organized setup. We even arranged for extra hands by enlisting students to assist, knowing there were only two hours to prepare both the ceremony and reception. Given her experience, we assumed that once she opened the van doors, she would know exactly how to unload and set up. And if not, I was just a phone call away and would have gladly provided guidance, as our communication had been great up until then. Some details that were crucial to our vision were completely overlooked. Instead of the white or warm white uplighting specified in my heavily revised document, blue lights were used—something that, as people of color, we knew wouldn’t photograph well. Our seating chart was placed inside the venue instead of outside during cocktail hour, and it was missing the designated floral arrangement. And then there was my sweetheart table—the focal point of our reception. I can’t begin to describe the rage I had to suppress when I saw it. These details may seem small, but they were essential in bringing our wedding vision to life. I will never have another wedding day, and while I’m not trying to be a bridezilla, I can’t help but wish I had just done the setup myself and saved the cost of her services. This was my one and only wedding, and Olivia has worked on many—so I’m struggling to understand how things turned out the way they did. It feels like all the time and effort I put into our day didn’t even matter because, in the end, she just did “her best.” I’m dreading seeing our wedding photos and videos because I know they won’t reflect the wedding we planned but rather the one she was able to pull together. To be fair, she did take on the stress of the day for us, but working under pressure, strategizing, and delegating tasks properly didn’t seem to be her strengths. I can’t stress this enough: DO YOUR RESEARCH on who you trust to execute your wedding day. Olivia is an incredibly sweet person—she’s communicative, prompt, and responsive. But despite that, I can’t shake this overwhelming feeling of regret, sadness, and disappointment in the outcome of our wedding.

While my team and I worked hard to execute your plans within the time and resources available, I acknowledge that some details did not align with what you had envisioned. The limited setup time, venue constraints, and the need to step in for unexpected challenges—such as handling technology I had expressed discomfort with—made it difficult to oversee every detail as thoroughly as I would have liked. Additionally, while I was under the impression that the volunteers assisting with setup had been trained on certain elements, this unfortunately was not the case, and we had to adjust on the spot. I appreciate the catering team stepping in to assist, but I regret that this affected the final outcome. That said, I take full responsibility for any areas where I could have communicated or delegated more effectively, and I truly wish we had been able to discuss your concerns more in-depth. I would be more than happy to connect offline to go over any lingering questions or provide additional insight into how certain decisions were made. Your wedding was a beautiful event, and I sincerely regret that it did not fully reflect the vision you worked so hard to create.
