My name is Marquesa Ukawilu, and I'm the Founder and Lead Planner at Iconic Events where we plan and execute Dallas-based luxury weddings for the busy couple who is looking for an Iconic and catered experience. By day, I am an internal auditor, who out of a passion for event planning and love for all things love, officially launched Iconic Events in 2020. This passion was first ignited in 2012 when I planned my own wedding and loved every aspect of it.
Iconic Events was birthed out of a love for weddings. We are a wedding planning and design company which services weddings in the Dallas Metroplex. We have 10 years of experience planning weddings of multiple cultures including West African (Igbo and Benin cultures of Nigeria, as well as Sierra Leone) and American weddings. We specialize in modern designs while maximizing your event budget and meshing the culture from both the bride and groom into our weddings.
