I am the Creative Director and Lead Wedding Planner behind Grit and Grace Events. I am based in the happiest little beach town (maybe I'm bias) and there is a very good chance you would run into me with coffee in hand (likely listening to Justin Bieber, Billie Eilish or Whitney Houston) while planning and designing purposeful weddings all along the west coast. I can't fathom getting to spend my time doing just about anything else —let's get planning, shall we?

We want to bring the narrative of your love story, your favorite people and things to life through the details of your wedding. Whether that means thoughtfully selecting colors that reflect the hues of your favorite city, renting tables that are the same as the restaurant from your first date, or ensuring that your tablescape is designed in a way to warrant genuine conversation, we’re here for it all. We are every bit obsessed and invested in bringing the often forgotten and overlooked details to life to make sure your wedding day feels so you.

    Claire from Grit and Grace events was fantastic. Unfortunately, due to unforeseen personal circumstances, my fiancee and I only had the opportunity to work with her for a short period. However, it was clear how much she cared about our wishes, and went out of her way to make herself available to us. She is incredibly professional and has a wealth of valuable knowledge. I wish our plans could have allowed us to continue with her, as we know it would have been an amazing experience. We whole-heartedly recommend her to anyone searching for a wedding planner!
