Hi, I’m Sonya, the founder of Bread and Blossom, an event planning and sourdough business I started in 2020. I’m thrilled to channel my expertise into helping couples bring their wedding day dreams to life. I thrive on the energy of planning events and am always dreaming up my next big party. At Bread and Blossom, we believe every detail matters and every celebration should feel as unique as the love story behind it.

I have 15 years of industry experience. My journey into weddings and events began with a passion (and degree) for all things hospitality. Over the years, I’ve worn nearly every hat in the industry—food and beverage manager, luxury hotels, fine dining server, bartender, banquets manager, catering sales manager, florist, corporate event designer, bar manager, private chef, line cook, cater waiter, etc. You name it, I’ve done it! This wide-ranging experience has given me a deep understanding of what it takes to create unforgettable events.

Description			Partial planning is prefect for the couple who still want to be involved in their wedding but don't want to handle every detail! I will assist as a consult throughout your entire planning process. I will help with overall design, f&B consult, walk through of your space, etc.	I prefer to call this month of planning as I'll get involved 3-6 weeks prior to your wedding date. We will have an in depth meeting to plan your timeline and hand over all your details to me. I will take over on vendor communication so nobody is contacting you on the day of your wedding. I will also execute your ceremony rehearsal and be there to handle all details of the big day!

I couldn't have pulled off my wedding without Sonya! Her consulting help for my most perfect day was unbelievably valuable. Every challenge we came across in the process was met with Sonya's positivity, resourcefulness, and creativity. Not to mention that she is an absolute blast to hang out with! That would be my biggest piece of advice to brides -- hire FUN people for your wedding planning process. Sonya has numerous years of experience from all sides of the wedding business, but really its her glowing energy that sets her apart, and will make your planning feel so enjoyable and special. You'll have a new best friend by the time you say "I do!"

I cannot recommend Bread and Blossom Events highly enough. As a wedding vendor myself (photographer), I’ve seen and experienced many weddings, but Sonya’s exceptional eye for design and color brings weddings to life in ways that are an absolute joy and second to none. Every detail - from the floral arrangements to table settings to the opulent charcuterie to the gorgeously designed and crafted cocktails - was flawlessly coordinated and stunningly beautiful. Additionally, her communication with me – as well as all other vendors at the event – was clear, thoughtful, and highly organized.
