You should get to experience and ENJOY your wedding day. Don't worry about vendors arriving, whether you're on schedule or who's supposed to be where. I will do that while you focus on getting married! Nothing makes me happier than worry-free couples having a blast on their wedding day! I'm often asked what style of wedding I specialize in. My answer is, "all of them." Weddings are big or small, any and every color of the rainbow, modern, classic, whimsical or even off-the wall! Every couple is unique and has their own ideas. I'm here to make it happen! My focus is giving you stress-relief and peace to enjoy your wedding planning process.

From start to finish, you work with Jen, the owner of Altar Ego Weddings. You are never handed off to someone else. I pride myself in bringing your vision to reality and making it even better than you thought it could be. I will listen to your wants and dreams and together we will set realistic expectations of the budget and plan. You will sit back, relax and enjoy the planning process and your wedding day knowing you are in capable, caring hands.

Description

The "Create" package is our ultimate service and is considered full-service wedding planning! We will assist you in every aspect of your wedding planning process. This package will provide the greatest benefit of hiring a wedding planner. We will be there from start to finish and direct your special day!

The "Guide" package allows you to add onto the "Month of" package. Select from a list of services specific to your needs. If you have some aspects of your wedding planned, but need assistance with completing the rest and directing the wedding day, try this package! Add only what you need.

The "Direct" package is considered "Month Of" or "Day Of" coordination. If you want some initial direction but would like to do all of your planning, this is for you! You get access to your planner from the get go to ask questions via email and then we will come in one month before the wedding and execute your plans!

    Working with Jen was an amazing decision. She acted as our month-of coordinator and our month-of truly was a breeze with her help! I really felt like I could just show up the day of because I could trust that Jen had everything handled (and it was handled perfectly!). She is very communicative and gives great, honest advice.     Working with Jen was the best decision we made! Even from my first phone call with Jen, I could tell how professional, experienced, and passionate she was about what she does. She was super receptive to our vision for the wedding and made everything go beyond anything we could have ever wished for! Even though we were planning our wedding from out-of-state, Jen made the process so seamless and stress-free. It ended up raining on our wedding day and Jen was able to pivot the entire wedding day less than 24 hours before it began - and you never would have guessed it was plan B because of how intentional and beautifully everything came together. It was the happiest day of our lives and I know that we have Jen to thank for that!

    Finding the right planner for your wedding can feel overwhelming—it truly can make or break your big day. Well, let me tell you, we hit the jackpot with Jennifer Ashford from Altar Ego Weddings! From our first meeting, we knew she was the rockstar we needed to bring our vision to life. Jennifer was incredibly conscientious of both our needs and our budget, making magic happen every step of the way. She worked seamlessly with Memory Lane's owner, Bobby, to ensure our day was absolutely stunning and everything I had dreamed of. There wasn’t a single question or crazy idea she couldn’t handle—she made us feel so heard and special throughout the entire process. Her organization and calm-yet-commanding presence on the day of were unmatched. She struck the perfect balance of chill and focused, making sure every detail was executed exactly as we envisioned. I was even able to fully relax the day of (which is not easy for me—I’m usually pretty anxious!) because I knew she had everything under control. Jennifer’s day-of assistant was also phenomenal—so sweet and helpful the entire night. Together, they made our wedding day run like a dream, and I genuinely felt no stress, just pure joy.
