Hi I'm David! Professional Wedding Photographer, snowboard-bum at heart, proud Dog Dad 🐾, and husband to my wonderful wife, Phoebe. I started White Umbrella Photography for the same reason most people would start their own business, to pursue my passion and experience more out of life. And so far it's been an honor to capture such intimate and honest moments. I've laughed, shouted for joy, and even cried for a lot of the couples I've worked with, all from behind the camera. I really do find myself smiling ear to ear after each wedding, being reminded of how rad it is to love someone and be loved in return.

I create an easy going environment where my clients can feel comfortable and safe. It's not unusual to hear me cheerfully globing over you nailing that whimiscal pose I suggested, or gasping with glee when I see you both strike your own pose with confidence. I give my clients the encouragement they may need to stand confidently behind the lens, while having fun and feeling empowered on your wedding day. Engagement session with the option of going a full 2 hours to fit in a second location and outfit change. Additional location and outfit is optional but comes standard in this service.

    I highly recommend hiring David as your photographer!!! We had hired him as our wedding photographer for 120 guests in August! He was very communicative throughout the whole process, starting with initial meetings on understanding what our vision of our day was— highlighting what would be the important things to us to photograph, especially as we had a very religious ceremony. On the day of our wedding, he brought so much warmth and ease into the busy day! He was very assertive to direct our large family and bridal party during photos and was very creative/directive in all of our poses. I absolutely loved how he was with us the whole day, being behind the scenes but guiding what we do, very friendly, strongly professional, and all of his photos came back to us ABSOLUTELY STUNNING! They were such high quality and immensely beautiful. I HIGHLY recommend having David be apart of your biggest day, you will not regret his craftsmanship and partnership.

    We were so impressed with David as our photographer! He was great when we had our meeting before and amazing on the day! We had a lot of disappointments with our wedding but David was 100% our favorite vendor. We are in love with the photos we got back, the editing was beautiful and we are so glad to have so many special moments captured. HIGHLY recommend!!

    I absolutely loved working alongside David during several wedding events. As a photographer, I could tell that he is attentive and well-mannered, and always wanting to capture the authenticity and beauty of the day. I've acted as David's second photographer and he has acted as my second photographer on multiple occasions and always look forward to events we have together!     David was great to work with! As a vendor communication is vital to make sure we don’t get into each others shots and David was always in communication with me to make sure I was good. David always made sure the couple had everything they needed which is always a plus!! White Umbrella Photography is a must if you need your photos for your special day!!
