Scout is both a digital and film photographer, shooting film as her preferred medium. Scout works in the southeast specializing in small events & weddings, elopements, portraits, and family photography. Scout resides in the charming town of Savannah, GA. "My goal is to capture the precious moments of love and honesty that reveal themselves in beautiful and transient light."

I place emphasis on the connection between photographer and client, I want each photo session to feel like a hangout between new friends. Ideally, we explore new places together & capture moments as they unfold naturally. My style is a blend of photojournalistic moments with a classic feel, and artistic experimental images, such as double exposures (every booking includes 1+ roll of film) I come to every environment with serene energy that can help calm any anxious nerves about having your photo taken. I believe your experience is equally as important as the end result, so let's have fun & capture something truly unique!

    Scout and her partner/second shooter photographed my wedding and engagement photos in Savannah, Georgia. They worked HARD to understand our hopes and inspiration for the pictures, and they all just turned out incredibly. The digital and film photos feel like family heirlooms and I know I will treasure the albums for the rest of our lives. I can't put into words how lucky I feel to have found her business, it was truly one of the highlights of our entire wedding planning season. She was flexible, took our ideas into account, made us feel extremely comfortable, and was truly passionate about collaborating to create a GORGEOUS end product. If we ever need any other photos, I will look to her first! Thank you, Scout and Jim, for giving us something tangible to remember this joyful time - we will never be able to show our gratitude properly.

    Scout & her partner, Jim, were our photographers for both our elopement at Black Balsam Knob in NC and our post-elopement reception. They were an absolute joy to work! They both have a very calming presence, yet they get so excited when inspired. We loved that they were willing & eager to explore unique shots (both film digital), and they even remembered specific photos that we wanted to recreate. We felt like they were willing to do whatever it took to make us happy & capture the feeling of our wedding day. We also really appreciated them scouting out the area beforehand, being flexible with the start time since the weather wasn't ideal, and that they gave us sneak peeks quickly. We couldn't imagine having a better team for our special day!
