I’m Sarah, wedding + elopement photographer documenting true and heartfelt moments wherever your little heart desires. My husband, Ryan is my adventure-loving second photographer and ordained officiant (yep, he’ll marry you!). We are city-dwelling nature lovers who strongly believe in having a good time. We call Pennsylvania home but travel all over to photograph couples in love. When not behind the camera or working on the computer, we enjoy cocktails, coffee, cats, and hiking with our toddler, Brooklyn.

We aren't your traditional wedding photographers. Yes, of course we always capture those formal family photos, but the vast majority of your wedding photos will tell the story of your day. None of this “laugh on the count of 3” stuff over here. Instead, our approach involves creating a comforting environment that allows for flattering authenticity. We create a series of heartfelt photos that tell a story; the happy tear rolling down your face to the belly laughs shared with the people who matter most. Your true moments are artfully documented so the memories can be revisited.

From the moment we booked Sarah Brookhart Photography, we knew we were in good hands. Sarah was extremely responsive throughout the entire planning process and her experience and confidence were evident in the work she produced. Sarah and her husband Ryan created captivating, editorial style images (seriously we looked as though our wedding was part of a bridal magazine) which resulted in jaw-dropping photos that perfectly captured the joy and love of our special day. We were thrilled to have Sarah Brookhart Photography capture our wedding day. From the very first interaction, their communication was consistently open, thorough, and professional, putting us at ease throughout the entire process. On the day of the wedding, Sarah and Ryan used their warm, relaxed presence and great sense of humor to help ease any nerves I had, allowing me to simply focus on my husband and celebrating the start of our marriage. Sarah is so fun to work with, she is quick, offers great direction, and makes sure you get the photos you want AND gets you back to the party. The BIGGEST flex though is the fact that I got married on May 25 and I had sneak preview pictures sent to me by May 28 and the first batch available in an online gallery on June 4! The photos are beautiful, she really captured the drama of our venue and the vibrant colors we chose for flowers and decor!

To me, the photographer is the most important vendor that you'll hire. When our wonderful day is over, our most cherished memories are the photographs. Sarah is incredible at her job. On both our engagement photo shoot and wedding day, Sarah made my now husband and I feel so comfortable. Both of our days were horrible snowy and rainy weather and she had a smile on her face, upbeat personality, and was ready to brave the elements with us. In both sets of photos we look at them and it takes us back to how we felt on those days. She did an incredible job of capturing us and the love we have for each other. She listens to you and is extremely flexible if you ask for something specific to be captured. She's organized and you can tell she really loves what she's doing. She was great to work with! We're so unbelievably happy that we booked her, thank you!! Also follow her on instagram- her stories with her husband and kids are adorable.
