Sarah

I’m Sarah, wedding + elopement photographer documenting true and heartfelt moments wherever your little heart desires. My husband, Ryan is my adventure-loving second photographer and ordained officiant (yep, he’ll marry you!). We are city-dwelling nature lovers who strongly believe in having a good time. We call Pennsylvania home but travel all over to photograph couples in love. When not behind the camera or working on the computer, we enjoy cocktails, coffee, cats, and hiking with our toddler, Brooklyn.

We aren't your traditional wedding photographers. Yes, of course we always capture those formal family photos, but the vast majority of your wedding photos will tell the story of your day. None of this “laugh on the count of 3” stuff over here. Instead, our approach involves creating a comforting environment that allows for flattering authenticity. We create a series of heartfelt photos that tell a story; the happy tear rolling down your face to the belly laughs shared with the people who matter most. Your true moments are artfully documented so the memories can be revisited.

    We were thrilled to have Sarah Brookhart Photography capture our wedding day. From the very first interaction, their communication was consistently open, thorough, and professional, putting us at ease throughout the entire process. On the day of the wedding, Sarah and Ryan used their warm, relaxed presence and great sense of humor to help ease any nerves I had, allowing me to simply focus on my husband and celebrating the start of our marriage. The photos they delivered are truly stunning - their professional approach and incredible skills are evident in every image. I revisit our special day through their photos regularly, and I would not hesitate to hire Sarah Brookhart Photography again for any future life event. Their team seamlessly blended into the day, capturing all the moments that mattered as well as the candid, natural shots that I cherish. I cannot recommend them highly enough.

    Sarah is so fun to work with, she is quick, offers great direction, and makes sure you get the photos you want AND gets you back to the party. The BIGGEST flex though is the fact that I got married on May 25 and I had sneak preview pictures sent to me by May 28 and the first batch available in an online gallery on June 4! The photos are beautiful, she really captured the drama of our venue and the vibrant colors we chose for flowers and decor!

    To me, the photographer is the most important vendor that you'll hire. When our wonderful day is over, our most cherished memories are the photographs. Sarah is incredible at her job. On both our engagement photo shoot and wedding day, Sarah made my now husband and I feel so comfortable. Both of our days were horrible snowy and rainy weather and she had a smile on her face, upbeat personality, and was ready to brave the elements with us. In both sets of photos we look at them and it takes us back to how we felt on those days. She did an incredible job of capturing us and the love we have for each other. She listens to you and is extremely flexible if you ask for something specific to be captured. She's organized and you can tell she really loves what she's doing. She was great to work with! We're so unbelievably happy that we booked her, thank you!! Also follow her on instagram- her stories with her husband and kids are adorable.

    Sarah was honestly unbelievable. She photographed our engagement photos wedding and we couldn't be happier. She is based in PA and came all the way to NYC to photograph our engagement photos so we could do it in our hometown. We aren't the most comfortable with posing for pictures, but Sarah made the experience beyond fun. She had us laughing the entire time, which made the pictures feel incredibly authentic and not posed. Then came our wedding & she did a 11/10 job on. It was in Baltimore and she was reliable, organized & made it fun for all of us. She photographed our day with her husband Ryan and he was also great. They have such a cute dynamic. Our bridal parties even had so much fun taking pictures. They said she was the best wedding photographer they have ever had. Sarah sent us some photo highlights a few days after our wedding and even sent our full album a month earlier than planned. My husband and I still can't stop scrolling through pictures from our day, they are just beyond beautiful and capture our emotions completely. We will be using her for many more events in the future and can't recommend her enough!
