About Ovation Photography & Design
Ovation Photography & Design
Elise is a wedding photographer based in Southern California whose style is candid and inspiring, with heeps of romantic photojournalism. Experienced in intimate weddings, destination weddings and elopements, she is available for world travel wherever love may take her.
Elise attended UCSD on a full-ride tennis and academic scholarship. She graduated with degrees in Law, Economics and Visual Arts. Her career in the Photographic Arts began over 30 years ago in the fashion industry, shooting models and covers for bridal and fashion magazines... this quickly transitioned into wedding photography. Currently, she utilizes her experience in both visual arts and the fashion industry to capture her clients' visions. Elise is dedicated to capturing her clients' celebrations and preserving the memories that will last a lifetime.

Our Luxury Collection features all the options wedding photography has to offer. All is included for couples that have a wedding vision in mind that necessitates a fuller experience. Photographic coverage is included for multiple days to cover a welcome party, rehearsal/dinner and farewell party. A primary and secondary shooter are included (10-hrs) for extensive wedding day coverage. And finally, your post-wedding farewell party will get coverage.

If you're having a small ceremony with just a few guests or no guests, you might only need 4-hours with our photographer. This will give you enough time to capture the ceremony, some portraits, a few candid moments afterward and a small picnic plus first dance.

Professional and Easy to Work With
Elise was a wonderful woman to work with. She was professional from the start, and heard our concerns. We had a few details conversations over the phone and she showed up to our venue with a solid plan and knew exactly what we were looking for. My Amazing Wedding
My husband and I hired Ovation Photography (Elissa Simmons) to shoot our wedding at the Monterey Peninsula. It was the most beautiful wedding day possible! We received the most amazing photos that captured the magical moments of that day. She went above and beyond our expectations as a wedding photographer. We hope she is available when we decide to renew our vows in the future.
Engagement and Wedding photoshoot perfection
Elise was such a pleasure to work with. She listened to the ideas we had and she also put her own twist to each photo! She made us feel comfortable and we had a blast with photoshoot for engagement announcement at Carter Este Winery and Resort in Temecula. The day of wedding she really took her time to capture each moment in the picturesque views at Temecula Creek Cottages. I love all our photos, a keepsake forever!
