Hello, my name is Nikki, and I am a wedding and family photographer for the sentimental and nostalgic. I have been lucky enough to call this my career for over 12 years. I am driven by a passion for storytelling and documenting your life for you to keep forever. Rooted in the heart of Chicago, IL, I am always ready to pack my bags and travel wherever your story unfolds (frequently travel to CO and WI). Whether it's the heartfelt promises exchanged on your wedding day or the joyful pitter-patter of little feet during an intimate family session at home, I treasure the opportunity to document every chapter of your life.

My photographic style is timeless, warm, candid, nostalgic, and real. I love photographing in a way that tells a story of who you are and who you love. I value the in-between moments that seem small but are so special, capturing the genuine, unscripted emotions that define your relationships. I pay close attention to details and the unique connections between the love of your life and your family, understanding that these photographs will be something you hold closely to your heart for years to come.

    Nikki was the best decision we ever could have made while wedding planning. She was enthusiastic, passionate, kind, genuine, and warm from the second we hopped on our first phone call to the very end of our wedding reception as she hugged us goodbye. She made not only us as a couple feel comfortable (which we expressed to her was one of our fears of just feeling awkward on camera) but our families and friends too, as she documented our church ceremony and our downtown-Chicago wedding reception. By the end of our time together, she felt like a friend we had known for years instead of a photographer that we found. She is so insanely talented - each time we got a sneak peek of the photos from our engagement shoot and wedding day, I was moved to tears. Nikki captured our wedding perfectly and we will continue to have her be a part of all of our life moments. WE LOVE YOU NIKKI!!!

    BOOK THIS PHOTOGRAPHER. From start to finish, Nikki was not only our favorite wedding vendor, but also someone we could rely on for everything from timeline help to outfit choices, from teaching us how to pose for a photo to helping choose our bridesmaid colors. She brought so much excitement to our engagement and wedding that made the time leading up to and the big day so much more special. We loved her photography style so much that we adapted our initial vision to match her style and it was the best decision we made. Our photos are timeless, warm, so reflective of the overwhelming love we experienced that day, and already so very cherished. She captured every moment, every emotion, and every person exactly right. Her apprentices also did a fantastic job. Every single person who has seen the photos has specifically pointed out how good our photographer was. Aside from her incredible work as a photographer, she is all around a delightful person, easy to work with, kind, and fun! She was reliable beyond belief, and I never had to worry about anything with Nikki. I cannot recommend Nikki enough, and plan to hire her for all our special events in the future.

    Look no further, Nikki is your gal! I wish I could give her 100000x stars It is so difficult to figure out which photographer is for you just from instagram and websites. But from day one when we met via zoom, Nikki was amazing. I instantly knew she was the perfect match for my husband and I. She is so kind, bubbly, and easy to get along with. Throughout the wedding planning process, if I had any questions about timeline, photo locations, etc. she would respond promptly and would be more than willing to help out. My husband and I are not so natural in front of the camera, but she made us feel that way!!! We did not want to spend hours taking couples portraits because we wanted to spend time with all of our guests. She captured some unbelievably beautiful portraits and candids without us feeling awkward in front of the camera. Nikki took the reigns for the weekend along with our wedding planner and made sure everything ran smoothly. She got along with our families and our families could not stop talking about how great she was. Lastly, I was SHOOK how fast she was able to get sneak peeks to us!!!! Literally the next day after our wedding, edited and everything. We just got our full album back and I could not be happier wow!!!! We have literally thousands of photos, our day was captured so perfectly. I will never use any other photographer. Nikki is nothing short of amazing! You will not be disappointed. We love you Nikki!!! There are no words, we can't thank you enough!
