Hey, I'm Kayla! More than than just a vendor; I'm your hype girl, fly on the wall, & friend. I believe you should always feel comfortable having your photo taken. With a photojournalistic style, I gravitate towards capturing candid moments between you and your closest people. We're a good fit if you're looking for lightly posed, natural, and genuine photos to help you remember how the moment felt.

I care about more than just taking a good photo, but an amazing memory. I want to show you how your family looks at you while you're giving your vows, when you’re hugging your best friend and dancing your booty off; I love the small moments that you otherwise wouldn’t remember or think to take a photo of. Not the cheesy, posed photos or forced smiles but the moments that will matter in 10+ years when you're looking back at your wedding album. While the beautiful landscapes and luxurious decor matters, capturing you, your favorite people and your wedding day as it happened is my biggest goal.

As a wedding planner your wedding photographer can make out break your wedding day, from their work to their customer service and time management. I had the absolute pleasure to work with Kayla May 2023. She not only went through the day with a smile on her face, but was so amazing at getting the couple and their guests to relax infront of the camera. Kayla doesn't hesitate to do whatever it takes to get the shot, all while remaining professional and respectful of her clients. Her communication and time management are absolutely amazing. I cannot recommend her enough!

I've worked with Kayla a few times and she is incredible. Talented, kind, patient and fun. She makes being photographed comfortable and easy, and I'm saying this as a human who hates getting their photo taken. If you have any inkling to hire Kayla - DO IT. Don't question it. She's amazing.

Kayla is simply amazing & deserves more than 5 stars. She handles her wedding day very calmly and has a natural talent for capturing all the beautiful moments that happen during a wedding day as they naturally happen. Kayla has also taken family pictures for me! She helped guide us through our session and our awkwardness. The images she created were so beautiful and captured my kiddos personalities perfectly.

Typically, couples book me anywhere from 3 months to 18 months before their wedding. I encourage you to reach out as soon as possible about my availability, even if you're unsure about pricing or what you need. As long as you have a wedding date set, we can chat!

Yes! This is available for a small fee. I photograph most weddings solo and am comfortable doing so, but if you have 150+ guests or are getting ready in a different location than your partner, I might recommend adding one to your package. It all depends on the timeline of your day, this can be added on as late as 3 months before the wedding.

10 weeks at the latest, but mot couples receive their photos around 6-8 weeks.

I do! Just let me know if your venue requires a certificate of liability, and I’ll send that over to them.

In my 6 years of experience as a wedding photographer, I’ve never cancelled a booking. In the very rare event that I’m unable to photograph your wedding, I’ll make sure you’re covered by one of my colleagues or my contracted assistant. I’ll also provide you with a list of photographers from the many networking groups I’m in, so you can find the perfect replacement.
