As a classically trained photographer I am both a technician and an artist. I approach photography as a means of artistic expression, but my first priority is always people—listening to them, capturing them as they truly are, and documenting their lives in a way that gives permanence to life’s most meaningful moments. The opportunity to photograph a wedding offers an entire day of seeing people at their most intimate and joyful. Taking a portrait is an opportunity to portray someone with authenticity and sincerity.

I approach all opportunities behind the camera with reverence and transparency, and relentlessly seek honesty in my work. That dedication is carried through to the process of closely working with my clients to ensure their vision is addressed, and then met. Simply put, I truly love what I do and I love bringing joy to my clients. The photos themselves are the final product of that joy, and the joy is the heart of the story.
