We can’t rave enough about working with Ed & Aileen for our wedding photos! When we were hiring photographers, we wanted someone who could capture our day in a way that felt authentic. What was astounding (and frankly magical) about Ed and Aileen’s work is that their photos captured the events of the day AND the emotions of the day all in one. Ed and the team have a spidey sense for when something is organically working, and they find a way to prompt that further and capture it at just the right moment. The result is jaw-dropping photos that gave us the opportunity to relive all the best moments of our wedding. Ed and the team made the whole process—from planning to engagement shoot to the big day to edits afterwards—feel the perfect balance of organized, fun, and supported. We couldn’t recommend them highly enough!

I don’t think I’ll ever stop raving about Ed & Aileen Photography. We worked with Ed for our wedding and engagement sessions, and it was a fantastic experience. We loved our engagement photos, and Ed surprised us with a 35mm film gallery from our wedding day. I don’t know how he has the energy to be everywhere at once, but he somehow does it. I can’t wait to see our digital photos. Every time I looked, he was there capturing moments. He brings a lot of fun energy everywhere he goes, and I can feel how much he loves his job. It shows in all his photos. If you want to work with a true professional, who gets down and dirty to get the right shots, Ed’s your guy. 10/10!! He coached us so we’d look our best, kept us on schedule, and expertly corralled our giant wedding party. All while leading us around the nature boardwalk at the Lincoln Park Zoo, finding the perfect spots. Thank you, Ed ️

Ed and Aileen are a great balance of being fun so that you feel comfortable in front of the camera, but they also know how to take charge when they have a limited amount of time and need to get stuff done. For anyone looking to hire a photographer who will capture the essence of your day, these guys are it.

Where do I begin?... Ed & Aileen are freaking INCREDIBLE! To start, they are both amazing humans -- so sweet, fun and easy to work with. My husband and I never had a professional shoot taken before, so we were a little nervous before taking our engagement photos. Aileen made it so fun, by the end we forgot there were tons of people staring at us! My favorite thing about Ed & Aileen Photography is their knack for candid shots. They are all about the fun and just being yourself. This is what sold us on them, the second we saw their photos we knew we HAD to work with them. Planning anything with them was super simple and easy. No waiting around for days or weeks at a time to get a response. They were by far our favorite vendors. So much so that 2 of my friends are using them for their weddings next year! USE ED & AILEEN PHOTOGRAPHY, YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED! They are modern day photography super heroes! Nope. We only take lists for formal family portraits. It is our goal to tell the story of your day, photographing all the emotions and genuine moments of your big day. We do not want anything to distract us from that, including crossing off items on a shotlist or Pinterest board.

We do not provide/deliver every image taken. Each image you receive has been worked on to a level that tells the story of your wedding day. We want you to be able to look through a set of images without being distracted by awkward duplicate shots, test shots, and closed eyes. We typically deliver an average of 500 photos for a ten hour wedding day.

Our most commonly used photo equipment includes Nikon D750s, Nikon D850, Nikon D5, 15-30mm f2.8, 24-70mm f2.8, 24mm f/3.5D ED PC-E Tilt-Shift, 35mm f1.4, 45mm f1.8, 50mm f1.4, 85mm f1.8, 135mm f2, 70-200mm f2.8, a few Profoto A1s, SB5000s, and other lighting equipment, an insane amount of batteries, tons of memory cards, and so much more. We also carry backup gear.

We got you! A certificate of insurance (COI) can be provided to your venue upon request.

Our couples usually give us around 2 hours for wedding portraits. This way we aren’t rushed if things run late, and we can explore a couple different locations together.

Wedding Collections begin at $3,750 with most of our couples investing between $5,500 and $7,000. And since we strongly believe in having a connection with every couple that we shoot, all wedding collections include a complimentary engagement session. Contact us for detailed pricing.

We require a signed contract and 25% retainer to secure your date with the full amount due 30 days prior to your wedding. All of this is done conveniently online. We accept cash, check, Chase QuickPay, and all credit/debit cards.
