Be Boulder Photography

For me, photography was a happy accident: I stumbled into it 15 years ago when I worked as the art director of SKI Magazine, and budget cuts dictated we take on more work in-house. Something about it flipped a switch for me, and I eventually started to think more about photography than I did about design. I practiced all the time, taking photos of my family at home, and then of friends' families too. I found so much beauty in capturing moments—an open-mouthed laugh, a playful handhold, a knowing look between a husband and wife—that otherwise would be lost amidst the chaos of life.

My goal isn't instagram likes or building my portfolio, it's YOUR day and I will be a part of making it the best damn day you've ever had! I’ll help you keep your day low-stress by honoring your space, because photography should capture the experience, not dictate it. With experience, I've developed an intuition about when and where things will happen, so I won't miss a beat. The subtle nuances may fade into your memory, but I'll be sure to capture them.
