My name is Amy Whalan. My photography business is based in Berkshire County, Massachusetts and I love to travel for photography so don't be afraid to ask! As a portrait photographer, it can safely be assumed that exploring, light, and people inspire me and that photography is my passion. I’m an aficionado of outdoor sessions, big windows, stylish couples, and gorgeous locations, especially if they involve horses or lots of dancing.

Avida Love Photography only uses local photographers who know the nuances of the area. We have over a decade of wedding photography experience and are dedicated to organically capturing your vision. Our couples love that they feel comfortable in front of the camera with us.

Typically, couples book me about 13 months before their wedding date. I encourage you to reach out as soon as possible about my availability, even if you’re planning on a shorter time frame.

Sometimes I’ll bring one assistant depending on the size of your wedding and length of coverage. Don’t worry, this won’t cost you extra. You are welcome to add on booking a second photographer to any package. Having a second photographer is great insurance for coverage of the day, of different angles and two locations at one time.

You will receive a sneak peek of highlight images within the first days after your wedding. You’ll be able to view all your photos online by the evening of your one-month wedding anniversary. You can share your gallery with anyone you like and they can download images as well.

I do! Just let me know if your venue requires a certificate of liability, and I’ll send that over to them.
