How far in advance should we book you for our wedding?

Accepted Answer

Typically, couples book me about 13 months before their wedding date. I encourage you to reach out as soon as possible about my availability, even if you’re planning on a shorter time frame.

Do you work with assistants or other photographers?

Absolutely! I have a team of talented and professional photographers that I love to work with. For any package that includes a second shooter, I will handle all the logistics of assigning someone for the task. Second photographers are carefully vetted.

Question 3

Will you edit all our pictures?

Accepted Answer

The best photos of your day end up in the final gallery. Your gallery will consist of the highest quality images, the most emotional moments, and the best angles and lighting. Galleries are curated by your photographer so you don't need to sift through thousands of images. Depending on your package, you will receive anywhere from 300-600 final images, all carefully edited with attention to detail, style, and artistry.

Do you also offer video services?

I sure do! I specialize in Super 8 (analogue) videography. Sometimes I'll add a little bit of digital in there if it is necessary for proper lighting and storytelling, but I prefer to use film as much as possible.

Question 5

How long will it take to see our pictures?

My turnaround time varies by package. Typically, you’ll be able to view your sneak peek photos online 48 hours after your wedding. After that, you'll receive your final images between 3-6 weeks.

Question 6

How many pictures will we get?

Accepted Answer

You can expect about 50 to 100 images per hour of photographing. But keep in mind this estimate varies depending on your wedding package, number of guests, venue type, and other factors.

Question 7

Do you have insurance?

I do! Just let me know if your venue requires a certificate of liability, and I’ll send that over to them.

Question 8

What’s your back-up plan if you can’t photograph our wedding as planned?

Accepted Answer

In my 10 years of experience as a wedding photographer, I’ve never cancelled a booking. In the very rare event that I’m unable to photograph your wedding, I’ll make sure you’re covered by one of my colleagues or my contracted assistant. I’ll also provide you with a list of photographers from the many networking groups I’m in, so you can find the perfect replacement.
