Welcome to The Soft Lights' page! Our catalog includes r&b, pop, disco, rock’n’roll, and jazz music, from Natalie Cole and Randy Crawford to ABBA, Stevie Wonder and Chakka Khan. Combined, our musicians have decades of musical experience. Our smaller jazzy trio and quartet are a perfect fit for intimate venues, setting an upscale mood; and our full band encourages listeners to tap their feet or head to the dance floor. Our vocalist has incredible range, tone and agility, and keeps the crowed engaged. We take our job seriously; we are easy to work with and can adjust to suit the needs of our clients.

We love to evoke old and new memories in our listeners. Sometimes their emotions lead them to shed a tear, but most of the time, they feel compelled to tap their feet and head to the dance floor. It brings us joy and satisfaction knowing our audience is enjoying, appreciates and is sometimes touched by our music. We love to make this connection.

    I’ve seen The Soft Lights perform a handful of times now and the experience always leaves me smiling and dancing. Not only are Micaela Stites’ vocals wonderful and her stage pressence warm and welcoming, but whichever musicians in the group happen to be playing with her on any given day are world class and mesmerizing in their mastery. With an even leveled playlist that covers all genres, there’s something for everyone. Highly recommend and can’t wait for my next experience as an audience member!

    I've worked with this band in multiple situations public events and fundraisers. They are exceptional musicians and the music really is "feel good"! I have also hired the trio for a private party and couldn't have had a better experience. If you need a great group of talented musicians for any occasion I highly recommend them!

Quick at communicating, always on time, and cleans up in a timely manner as well. Micaela and her band are enjoyable to work with, highly recommend them.
