I’ve been a touring drummer for the last decade with Pattern is Movement. I’ve had the pleasure to share the stage with artists like The Roots, St. Vincent, Dirty Projectors, Shabazz Palaces and tour all around the world. I’ve also been booking shows for years at Philly’s own Johnny Brenda’s. My life revolves around music and that is why I love to DJ.

All of my years of listening to and performing music have helped me hone my ability to read a crowd and when I’m spinning a wedding – my focus is to get and keep the party going. So, when you hire me, you’ll get a DJ who is emotionally invested in your day. We’ll work together to figure out the songs you’ve got to hear on that special day as well the ones you do not want played. My job is to get everyone dancing from your Grandma to your best friend and I take that responsibility seriously!

This is my most common package. Most weddings have a cocktail hour that is not within the reception space. I will bring a PA for the cocktail hour as well as my usual Reception setup.

    To say Chris is an EXCEPTIONAL DJ is an understatement. Music is so important to us and we wanted a DJ that not only understood our music taste, but also understood the vibe we wanted to create for our non-traditional big day. Chris absolutely over delivered. He set the perfect mood for our cocktail reception and flawlessly transitioned us into a full out dance party that was so fun, everyone was chanting for him to keep going at the end of the night. He has an incredible ability to read the room and know exactly what is needed to keep the party going. Over a week later and guests are still talking about the music (including several requests for his contact info so they could hire him for their own weddings). Also want to mention how much of a pleasure he is to work with. He was attentive, collaborative, thorough, and passionate about making our day the best it could be from the moment we contacted him. We planned our wedding in 3 months, which could've been a nightmare, but he helped make the process seamless. He set up multiple calls with us leading up to the wedding and took his time on each call to make sure he knew exactly what we were looking for. We simply cannot say enough about him. Just a terrific experience in every way. Our wedding would not have been what it was without him! THANK YOU, CHRIS!!!

    Chris was SUCH an awesome DJ for our October wedding. His whole process is well organized and thought out, and we knew we could trust him with on-the-spot music decisions since he has natural musicality. No one was ever bored of the music, and he created an awesome atmosphere for our reception. Bonus: he has a facade to hide his cords that is beautiful, and he has a great mic and speaker set up if you need that for your ceremony. All in all, couldn’t be happier to go with Chris for our special day!

    Chris was the absolute perfect DJ for our wedding! He was able to seamlessly meld together all of our favorite types of music, which led to the perfect atmosphere for our wedding. Chris just *got* us. He was incredibly thorough and organized leading up to the wedding. When we were feeling in the weeds leading up to the big day, a frequent calming thought was "we don't need to worry about Chris, he's got it."     From the first moment we talked with Chris, we knew he was the DJ we wanted for our wedding. He was so helpful when it came to picking songs, and he had such a great read of the room that everyone was on the dance floor at some point. He had songs to cater to every crowd. I cannot say enough good things about our experience.
