I don’t even know where to begin. Before the wedding day, Grace, Klara, and Tina went above and beyond on every single detail to make this day truly special. They were there every step of the way and responded so quickly. I know they were working with so many other weddings, but made me feel special like I was the only wedding they were focusing on. I knew the wedding day was going to be beautiful through the planning process but I couldn’t imagine it being as beautiful as it was. From the morning of getting ready, to riding away at night I was in awe the entire time. I felt like the luckiest girl/bride in the world getting married there and having the support from all the staff and support.

Would recommend this place if you are looking for a unique historic setting.

Anchorage Presbyterian Church

5.0

Louisville, KY
  • Up to 200 guests
  • Raw space
  • Indoor & outdoor
  • Starts at $925

Tradtional, timeless: The 150-year-old Anchorage Presbyterian Church building is a beautiful structure in the middle of a serene setting surrounded by trees, walking trails, and historic estates in the town of Anchorage, KY. Picturesque, both inside and out, the sanctuary, campus and surrounding grounds serve as a gorgeous backdrop for wedding pictures. There's no need to travel around the city to find a separate landscape for bridal party portraits. We have it all here. With seating for 200 guests, newly renovated rooms, multiple spaces for dressing and touch ups, all controlled through state-of-the-art heating and air systems, our facilities provide you with the comfortable space you need to ease the stress of the special day.

There was nothing quite as special and beautiful as having our wedding under the fall foilage in historic Anchorage. Our venue decision was heavily inspired by being the third generation to be married at Anchorage Pres., however, I would do it all over again had we been searching for a traditional, welcoming space in the Louisville area. We had many local and out-of-town guests comment on how intimate the ceremony and sanctuary felt from beginning to end. The sunset light shining through the original stained glass windows during the moments we took our vows was so beautiful, I truly felt like I was living a dream. The entire planning experience was smooth, staff clearly communicated and were incredibly accommodating with our personalization wishes (including our dogs as special guests). We would recommend APC over and over again to any couple looking for a timeless, memorable wedding day.

Wiedemann Hill Mansion

5.0

Newport, KY
  • Up to 62 guests
  • All-inclusive
  • Indoor & outdoor
  • Starts at $4,250

Wiedemann Hill Mansion is an intimate wedding venue that can accommodate up to 62 guests. We offer beautiful indoor and outdoor ceremony options and a gorgeous backdrop filled with rich history for you and guests to enjoy.

The first thing we knew we wanted out of a venue was a small size - we didn't want more than 60 people in attendance. We picked this location initially with the guest count being are only criteria, but we were almost immediately surprised by so much more. The view, the gorgeous interiors, and the rich history were all things that finally led us to choose this as our venue for our wedding. But, above all else, was the venue owner - Roger Swonger. He went above and beyond to make our day as special as it possibly could be, and with his help, our wedding day went absolutely perfect. With just one planning session, and a couple of tours, Roger was able to guide us through the perfect day. He communicated well with all of the vendors, was able to provide an amazing wait staff, and bartender, and even thought of the small details - placing some flowers on our small wedding cake, putting a pen by the guest book, etc. Most importantly to us, as a now husband and husband duo, was finding a venue that was accepting. This was Roger to a tee - not only did he treat us with kindness, he guided us towards other LGBTQ friendly vendors as well. With his support and guidance, we had a wedding that completely surpassed our exceptions of what a wedding could ever look like in an area like Kentucky. I don't think there is any universe where we could have had a better wedding, and this is all thanks to Roger, and all thanks to having our wedding ceremony at Wiedemann Hill Mansion.

Formerly St. Paul's Roman Catholic Church, originally built in 1850. The building was deconsecrated in 1974. That same year the building was placed on the National Register of Historic Places. In 1981, The Verdin Company, North America's oldest bell and clock company, purchased historic St. Paul's Church. The beautiful building housed The Verdin Company corporate headquarters and the Verdin Bell and Clock Museum. In the late 1990's, The Bell Event Centre was created in St. Paul's Church. Featuring hand-painted murals, marble, stained glass windows, vaulted ceilings, terrazzo flooring, & a cobblestone courtyard, this spectacular venue made for an unrivaled setting for events. Christy Cafeo & her family were presented the opportunity to purchase The Bell Event Centre in 2008 & has been creating memorable events ever since. With an elegant, historic setting & exceptional amenities, The Bell Event Centre is the perfect place to bring your dream wedding to life!

The Bell Event Centre, in the heart of Pendleton, is one of the most beautiful venues in the city and creates a very unique mood and vibe for your wedding day. From the gorgeous architecture, amazing stain-glass windows, and the best coordinating team there is - you truly are in the best of hands when choosing this venue for your Wedding or Event. Not only is the venue itself incredible, the team that takes care of you from start to finish is more incredible. They work together, help you with the details, and take care of their vendor teams!
