About this venue

The Woodward Theater, established in 1913, is a historic music venue & event hall located in Over The Rhine in Cincinnati. We offer a unique, yet versatile ceremony & reception space that enables couples to represent their personal style. Our rental fee includes chairs, tables, linens & bar glassware. We offer all day access starting at 9am, with the option of a room flip during the event. We also provide full sound production, including House Engineer, use of our historic exterior poster box display, door security, wifi, a bridal area & over head bistro lights. There are three beverage packages to choose from, all of which include 24 beer taps featuring local favorites, wine & champagne. Lastly, there is plenty of room for dancing in front of our stage, surrounded by a gilded proscenium.

As a former silent movie house from 1913, we capture the old Hollywood vibe perfectly. Host your ceremony and reception here, with 24 craft beers on tap and a stage for exchanging vows in front of 200 guests. We welcome all faiths and traditions, from German log-sawing to canine ring-bearers. Our goal is to make your day fun, memorable, and stress-free. Enjoy all-day venue access, affordable parking, and a professional sound system—we've thought of everything so you don't have to.
