I started my DJ career in college on our college radio station. It gave me valuable on-air experience and allowed me to become the DJ for the college parties and weddings. Then for 10 years, I worked for a large entertainment company, traveling across the country setting up DJ businesses. I finally settled down here and established Columbus Pro DJs in 1998. 25 Years later we have performed at 1000+ weddings and have the experience to help you have the best wedding possible.

Josh founded JSP after a terrible experience with his own wedding DJ when he married his beautiful wife Michelle. Due to the severity of the COVID-19 pandemic in California, he recently relocated to Columbus, Ohio to begin his foray into DJing.

The Sound Option is created by Matthew Singell, a Columbus musician. The Sound Option provides DJ services, sound reinforcement services and live music performances on guitar, voice, piano and ukulele. Matthew attended Otterbein University and graduated with a bachelors degree in music in 2006.
