It is our mission to make your wedding day perfect! ​ Painted Lakes Ranch offers stunning Texas weddings and lodging situated on a large sprawling property hosting a historical climate controlled facility on top of a hill overlooking a lake and a huge property with old oak trees scattered everywhere. PLR offers multiple choices for your ceremony location with panoramic views. In addition, the option to move it indoors in the event of inclement weather. We have a view by the water, a view on an overlook, wooded view amongst the cedars and more. PLR is located in North Texas near Graham and Possum Kingdom just outside a little town called Bryson. PLR is less than an hour from Weatherford and Wichita Falls and a little over an hour from Fort Worth.

Although The Reserve is a new addition, our roots run deep. Ranger Creek Ranch is a family owned and operated cattle ranch nationally recognized for its first class hunting operation, exceptional wild game, and storied history. Ranger Creek Ranch has been in our family for over 120 years. Ranell built The Reserve event venue on the ranch in October 2019 just in time for Kaylie and her husband Ryan to say "I Do" as the first Reserve couple. We are so excited to share our labor of love for other couples to enjoy. We pour every ounce of ourselves into the events we host no matter how big or small, we pride ourselves on going above and beyond with every detail. We are focused on fostering an unwavering commitment to our clients for a memorable and special wedding weekend. Our passion is to let love grow wild in the wide open spaces and off the beaten path.
