Our dealings with the team well exceeded our expectations. The day went completely smooth with no glitches, a great number of our guests decided to book rooms at the hotel which they spoke very highly of. We were drawn to Colvin House because of the mansion's historic details, but believe it truly shines when paired with the talents of Pyrite Sun, their in-house planning, catering, rentals, and floral team. We met with Sarah (Colvin's Events Manager/Owner of Pyrite Sun) to tour the space and ended up hiring Pyrite Sun for our entire wedding at Colvin House. Not only was it convenient to have everything under one roof, but we had a personalized wedding experience like no other–complete with vintage furniture, plates, and coupes, the most incredible floral from Colvin's gardens, and a customized food menu that our guests still rave about. I also love that Sarah recommends great vendors they've worked with and happily coordinates whatever you need with any other vendors you'd like to hire, as well. Overall, an incredibly special experience you won't find anywhere else. Thank you, Colvin House and Pyrite Sun, for making our vintage glamour wedding dreams come true!

I got married 1/25/20 (literally right before pandemic hit). Never did I image the process of planning would be so smooth and of course I prepared for at least 1 hiccup during the day. When I tell you EVERYTHING was perfect; it really was. Belvedere's team is the reason for this! From months leading up to my day, weeks, days, and hours; Jodi, Doro, and the rest of the team were great at getting back to all my questions and made me feel comfortable with all things wedding related. The tasting (3 months prior) was amazing and chef Alfredo made his presence, explained all choices, and this was the moment that getting married hit us! Let's not forget that doro was amazing at the tasting too! Although side note; I've worked with the belvedere team for 10+ years for corporate events so there were lots of jokes on why i even needed a tasting. :) fast forward to rehersal the day before, doro once again was a gem to have around. He calmed my nerves with a glass of chardonnay. :) day of the wedding jodi stuck around in my bridal suite and made sure my dress was perfect for my entrance, came down and watched a bit of the ceramony, hugged me afterwards, and made sure all was great before she made her exit. The bartenders were on point, food service was quick, hot and delicious, decorations were in ALL the right spots per my horrible instructions (they are great at figuring things out!) And I had nothing to worry about other than making sure I soaked up EVERY second with my new groom. Although I've known belvedere a long time and have had numerous events here (sometimes 6 or more a month) my wedding felt amazing and it was nothing like my corporate events. I also will let future brides know that you will be treated just as amazing! If you want a jaw dropping venue with bonus amazing staff that will treat you as if you're their most important customer (and even a friend) then you are in the right place. You will get all of these same treatments... it doesnt matter if you've known them for 10 years or it's your first meeting. They care about every person coming in their venue and want you to walk away knowing they have their $%*T together and you only have to focus on you!

their work. Our original wedding day was canceled due to Covid-19, but we were very lucky to find Studio Soo. Soohyun was very responsive and had many great ideas for our big day. We were able to use the beautiful studio for our ceremony and Studio Soo live streamed the entire ceremony for our guests. Everything came together nicely with Studio Soo's team- the lighting, the music, the setup. We purchased a wedding videography package as well. Soohyun and Kay captured amazing shots and created a beautiful video that displayed our story perfectly. The Studio Soo team is incredibly talented! Studio Soo curated a memorable wedding day and wedding video for us that we can't wait to share with friends and family!

We couldn't have picked a more beautiful, open and perfect venue than the Factory on Barclay. We got married 5/13 and people are still messaging me about how stunning the venue was. Sarah was amazing every step of the way from letting us tour multiple times with different family members, owning set up of our day and tear down. We didn't have to worry about a thing besides having our day. The rest of the staff day-of was absolutely awesome as well. Alcohol is provided. Bartenders were awesome and dealt with the party atmosphere of our wedding really well. We had a little scheduling issue where, surprisingly, we were ahead of schedule and Sarah got all vendors to move things ahead 30 mins. You get so much for your money as well. The space itself is massive and makes the day flow really easily. We did everything on-site, (getting ready, pics, ceremony and reception) and it was the perfect space. Getting ready suites are huge and a big plus. Recommended vendors usually sway people in the opposite direction because you have a smaller list of caterers to chose from, but it's evident that the staff at the Factory and Sarah have taken the time to curate a list of vendors that make a lot of sense for all different budgets and different experiences. We wouldn't do a thing differently regarding our venue search. Truly was the most beautiful day. Will add pictures once we get our formal pics from our photographer!

I worked with LNF for over a year to plan my dream wedding. We knew we wanted to go a little unconventional from the standard type of venue and let me say it PAID OFF. From the planning perspective: I want to give all my kudos to Brianna from the events team for everything she did! She was in constant communication with me about everything from food selections to reception layout and was so kind throughout the entire process. She helped me feel empowered with the decisions we were making and helped with monthly touch bases to go over details to weekly once we got close to the wedding. She made sure I had everything I needed and helped make our vision come to life! From the venue/event perspective: Our guests are still raving about this wedding two weeks out. The family style entrees gave everyone more than enough food that was delicious and the bar staff was getting into the party with us as much as we were! Everyone was attended to in a timely manner and the entire staff played a huge role in making the night so welcoming and engaging. The layout worked perfectly for our group, too. The garden transformed into our dance floor that easily fit all of our guests together and the rooftop served as such a unique and beautiful setting for our ceremony. I truthfully don’t have enough positive things to say about the staff and the venue. Not to mention that the pricing for our event was all inclusive (bar, food, venue, DJ, decor, etc.) which made it super easy to keep track of everything and was also WAY more affordable than other venues within the area. This Venue is tucked away in downtown Elgin. It has a beautiful rustic theme. It has hardwood floors and exposed brick throughout the venue that really helps it stand out from any other venues I’ve looked at. We are getting married here in April. It has a huge bridal suite and the groom gets his own room too! The staff is really what makes this venue what it is. Marilyn was so helpful and attentive through the whole process of us getting married. Chris the Beverage Director and her bar staff were amazing and made the tastiest cocktails! It was very challenging for us to find a wedding reception venue that fully met our cultural needs with outside catering capabilities and guest capacity. We searched all over Milwaukee and the options were quite limited. We decided to reach out to Harley Davidson and started working with Dave Larson (Event coordinator). We couldn't have gotten paired up with a better person. He took time out of his busy days to meet with us multiple times in getting everything right and fine tuning the details. Our wedding reception was more than we imagined. We can't thank Dave enough for all his hard work. Intimacy is hard to achieve in a venue and nowadays with the crushing oppression of minimalism, even more difficult to find. What I love about Lou Lou is that it has all of the necessary staples of a well run restaurant but none of the chaos. The decor is warm and welcoming, the tables are a pleasant lighter wood that invokes a bright memory of sitting in the kitchen of the cool aunt. Textured pieces of art and pottery grace the walls and delicate white curtains frame the front windows to give the diners privacy. I love that I can see the chefs working diligently behind the counter and that the flow of the space draws your eye down the line and to the cute little stage in the back. This could be used for a jazz trio, a sweetheart table or an emotional speech at a rehearsal dinner. Regardless, the space is unique and I am certain, will become as precious to the community as it is to me and my family.

Had the 5 hour lunch wedding package on 5/20/23. It was fabulous. Lisa was the wedding coordinator and offered the Emerald Room with high ceilings. Very light and airy. She set up everything beautifully. Lots of food. Cake was beautiful and delicious. Everything was perfect. The only thing that could have changed was cleanup started 15 minutes before event ended which caused some guests to leave slightly early. But overall a 10 out of 10. You will not be disappointed by selecting Villa Olivia. Also beautiful outdoor pictures at this facility.

The Stan Mansion was a beautiful venue to have a ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception. Cera, the owner of the mansion will give you a list of vendors that work weddings at the mansion all the time together so you can trust that you are in good hands and that the vendors that you choose will know their space and know what they are doing. The bridal suite was extra fun to get ready in! It also gave you a nice space to take a quiet break, if needed. Cera and Kathy were welcomed us to come see the venue as many times as we needed. The mansion is beautiful and you will have a beautiful event there.

Starting from the first call we had with Amelia (Sales Manager in charge of their room blocks) last November while Jonathan (Wedding-Catering Sales Manager) was out of the office, we knew The Abbey was going to be an amazing venue to work with. Her vibrant personality could be felt over the phone, and made me feel like we’d known her for years. This rang true through every single phone call and email we had during our wedding planning, all the way through being onsite for our wedding week. Amelia is friendly, approachable, a great listener, accommodating, timely, and hospitable to name just a few. We genuinely felt like she cared about the success of our wedding, and the experience that our guests were going to have. She went as far as working with the reservations team to ensure we got a suite that was previously reserved when it opened up, customizing our wedding block to fit our guests’ needs, helping ensure guest welcome bags were distributed, and welcoming us for our stay with a gift basket note. We truly believe we would have ended up having our wedding elsewhere if I hadn’t tracked her down last November. Similar to Amelia - from the first time we connected with Jonathan to start planning our wedding, we knew we had something unique in our venue team, and felt confident we’d be in great hands throughout the process. Jonathan always responded to our frequent emails in an extremely timely manner – often right away even when we told him to wait until business hours – and it often felt like he was one step ahead of us. He was extremely helpful with providing his industry expertise, guiding our decision making based on previous experience with weddings / large events, and felt confident that he ultimately had our best interests in mind. He helped us incorporate unique components / details to our wedding that our guests are still talking about, and gave us the sweetest welcome package in our suite! (And recommended we book a great secluded suite!) Jonathan somehow was able to accommodate all of our requests in some way or another, and always made us feel like he was so personally invested. We never could have imagined working with someone so responsive, flexible, detail-oriented, and somehow as passionate about our wedding as we were. His organizational and coordination skills shined exceptionally throughout the last 10 months – even the day after the wedding he was helping us move things out of the ballroom and transferring flowers to brunch. He was truly there every step of the way. We have not been able to stop raving about both Jonathan and Amelia to anyone who asks, and can confidently say we don’t have any negative feedback to share about our experience. Our guests have been the same way and have all been positively commenting on their whole experience. Any challenges that came up throughout our process were always met with solutions, a clear path forward, and their team going above and beyond. Jonathan and Amelia were even there to see us out the Monday after our wedding as we departed, and made not only us but also our parents feel like family. Truly everyone from check-in, Greg at valet, and restaurant spa staff, to the catering events teams and management being open to our ever changing requests ( and keeping up with our large group size) – everyone was so accommodating to work with. We cannot say more positive things about the staff, venue, and our experience!

Where do I begin?! We had our ceremony at the Doubletree Hilton and wanted a space for our reception close to the hotel, but without spending an arm and a leg. We booked The Box for our wedding reception in June and everything went perfectly. We were looking for a venue that was affordable and not over priced, no food/beverage minimum, minimal setup, timeless and beautiful, and that could accommodate our guest list of 75. The Box checked alllll of these boxes. I love that we were able to arrange the space how we envisioned and choose our own caterer (we used BelAir Cantina). Jamie worked with us to select a bar package that was extremely reasonable and fit our budget. We felt zero pressure during our meetings and Jamie assured me her team would make sure the space looked lovely, and she was right! We saved money on decor by using The Box’s candles and some lamps they provide, and we brought bud vases with flowers in for table decor. They had all the tables set and ready to go for my personal assistants to set up the little details (bud vases, signage, card box, etc). Both Jamie and Jaime were a delight to work with and made sure we felt comfortable and happy. They were both very responsive and answered all of my questions. I felt like they truly cared about helping to make our wedding day successful and that meant so much to us. There seemed to be plenty of street parking and I know a few guests utilized the parking garage kitty corner across the street with no issues. 10/10 would recommend The Box for a wedding reception or any event for that matter. This space has so much potential and they can help bring your vision to life. I am so happy we chose The Box to celebrate our marriage with our favorite people!! Also downtown Milwaukee and the riverwalk are within walking distance and are PERFECT for photos, even in the rain.

The Best Place at Pabst was so easy to work with, affordable, flexible drink packages, lots of fun amenities, natural atmosphere and decor means you don’t need to do much decorating of your own, I could go on and on. Our guests could not stop raving about how unique, intimate and lovely the space was. We used the Blue Ribbon Hall which included a balcony space which we used to give our guests the opportunity to play classic WI card games; Euchre, Sheepshead, cribbage etc… It was a great, separate space to hang out but still be a part of the celebration and watch the dancing. The staff even accommodated our last minute request to play the Bucks playoff game on the projector during dinner! Our wedding included lots of guests from out of town and out of state and we really wanted a venue that embodied Milwaukee culture. This. Was. IT.

A beautiful venue and easy to work with in terms of management, but I had something stolen during the event. It was stolen from a space that staff and vendors had access to. I informed the manager and recommended in future, they either keep an office open and locked for secure use or a safe for people to store items in if needed.

The location is perfect for an event, the layout is well designed and flexible enough to plan any affair. We all enjoyed the indoor/outdoor experience and our guests were amazed. I'm still getting questions from people that attended wondering about this location. It was definitely a hit and the talk of the event.
