“Desert House Productions was absolutely amazing to work with for our wedding! We originally wanted a dj plus live instrumental players as well! Dave knocked it out of the park with the percussionist (Ali) and saxophonist (Rachelle) he found to go along with his amazing DJ skills. My husband and I have a big variety of musical tastes from country, rock n roll, present day bangers, etc and we could not have asked for a better selection on his part in making the night one to remember! Another worry of ours was that we just wanted everyone to be on the dance floor at all times. He was so great at reading the crowd and would sense if there needed to be any changes to make sure everyone enjoyed it. I can honestly say, no one left the dance floor! “Keith was the perfect DJ. Honestly! There is nothing that we would change about our wedding night, it was truly perfect. Keith is a class act professional who makes no compromise between quality and affordability. He values his clients and offers extraordinary service at an affordable price. I went in with high (but reasonable) expectations for our wedding night, and he definitely delivered above and beyond!! We had read other reviews of weddings that Keith had DJ’d where the clients were musicians and they had curated a specific type of music they wanted throughout the night, and he nailed it. I consider myself a little bit of an audiophile, so I listen to a wide range of music, and I can also attest to just how amazing Keith’s music selection was! Part of a DJ’s job is to get you excited to go out on the dance floor, and we were already excited before the dancing began, because we just knew Keith was going to kill it (spoiler alert: he did!). He even mixed together multiple songs at once and it was amazing! Keith kept the atmosphere alive all night and there was never a dead moment. Most of the people were up and dancing, even people who have never been willing to dance before! It takes a skilled DJ to do that. It was electric. We had had a negative experience with another DJ company that we spoke to before we decided to look to Nocturnal Cafe, but just from the first conversation with Keith we knew he was our DJ. Keith was incredibly respectful to us, he was patient and understanding throughout the whole process, and he worked with us every step of the way to make sure we were going to have the best night of our lives. His process with his clients is great and made us feel very comfortable. He does a great job of avoiding the typical eye-roll cheesy songs (unless you request it, of course) and he picks songs that suit well for what you’re looking for. We gave him some songs/artists/genres we would like to hear (and some to songs to avoid) but we ultimately wanted to just give him an idea of what we were thinking and for him to use it as a guide more than a ‘must’. We gave him creative freedom to just let him work his magic and boy, was it magic that came out of those speakers!”

“We had Terrell as our DJ for our wedding and could not be more happy with him! It was a little nerve racking having a meeting so close to the big day but Terrell and Derek both made us feel comfortable that everything would go smoothly. On the day of the wedding Terrell was at a venue he has never worked at before but set up and communication was seamless. He kept the party going and had the dance floor packed all night (one of the most important things for us that night). We didn't give him a playlist; just more like some guidelines and he did an amazing job. He came up to me and my husband to ensure we were happy (and even fed!). He communicated with me and the photographer to ensure all the big moments were captured before the photographer had to leave which was so nice because the thought to do that had not even occurred to me.
