“Putting on the Ritz catered our wedding and their food was so good! I worked with Mila and Mindy during the process and thoroughly enjoyed working with them! Guest enjoyed the food (especially the Hors d'oeuvres—those meatballs and cheese/bean quesadillas were gone so quickly lol) ! There was plenty to go around though. And the guests loved the assorted cupcakes (the cake was provided by someone else) and bartending services! There were was internal changes with staffing over the time we hired them to the wedding day, but that did not create any issues. It seemed they had a smooth communication system and everything we agreed on during the tasting was exactly what we had at the wedding. No mistakes, no miscommunications, and any questions that needed clarity were asked and confirmed to myself and my event coordinator. They were timely, their staff was attentive and helpful, were reasonably priced, and they provide all the table clothes, china, silverware/utensils, and drinking glasses (all included and customizable). I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for an event caterer in the area!”

“Amy was the DJ for our November 2024 wedding. As the music sets the vibe, we wanted someone who really understood what we were looking for and understood the music we like and our tastes. After a horrible experience talking with another vendor, we immediately clicked with Amy and felt that she understood what we were looking for (Gay dance pop!). Communication with her was straightforward and simple, and she took our basic playlists for different parts of the night and blended them to reflect our style and set the appropriate mood. She executed the music cues during our outdoor ceremony perfectly which we believe helped to elevate the whole experience. But the star of our experience with her was an amazingly packed and vibrant dance floor for the whole time. We got so many compliments on the music and everyone from our friends to coworkers and older relatives had a great time. One of our requests was to play a ton of Chappell Roan and Amy delivered, including a (potentially original?) dance mix of Pink Pony Club that was honestly transcendent. She even played a special song for a plushie toss (it’s a story) without our prompting. “Your guests will leave full and happy. The food is AMAZING. We had people coming up to us and our parents on wedding day asking who catered. We had a lot of vegan and gluten free guests and Classic made sure that they had just as many options as those without the restrictions. Our vegan friends who are used to just picking at salads at every wedding couldn't stop talking about how good everything was, and how they could actually eat it! We worked with Georgetta who helped us at every turn. She made everything perfect and did so much for us, from the time of our first tasting to the very end of the big day. She answered every question and every single email. She was always quick with it and always encouraged us to ask as many questions as we needed to, to feel confident in the process. She worked with our budget and made everything come out better than we could have ever imagined. Classic's wait staff and bartenders were also incredible. My husband requested specific gluten free beers because of an allergy and not only did they pull through with it, but they also poured him one for dinner before he even had to ask. They did the same for me with my favorite cocktail! We felt like A-list celebrities all night. The food is delicious and beautifully presented, and their attention to detail is unmatched. Go to your tastings and give honest feedback! They will make everything exactly how you want it.”

“We couldn’t be happier!!! We can’t say enough about Zach Book and LA-DJs! They did a phenomenal job for the wedding of our dreams. We spoke to Zach over the phone initially to get to know one another, and it was so easy to connect with him and discuss our musical tastes. We were immediately on the same wavelength, and we could tell his style was a perfect match for what we were looking for - Zach is super easy to get along with, if you speak he will listen, and he will also provide his advice drawing on his immense experience. We trusted him to run the entire show. The music was perfect from beginning to end drawing on different genres (classic, jazz, motown, funk, pop, hip hop, etc.) and transitioning just how we wanted throughout the evening. Zach also has amazing presence on the mic and a skillful ability to read crowds to get the party going and keep it going. His intros and shout outs were well timed, short and sweet - just what we had hoped. Thank you Zach and LA DJs for playing a pivotal role in our wedding and knocking it out of the park!”

I will consult with my clients to determine the design and decor of their bar. Bar will be elevated to "bar height" 42 inches. Upscale matching linens, matching decor as well as lighting. We do take pride in our setups so we must have access to the venue 3 hours prior to the start time of your event.
