“We hired POTR to cater our wedding at Josephine Butler Parks Center at the beginning of November 2024 and I was completely blown away by their service from the time we contacted them a year ago through clean up at the end of the night. POTR was stellar and flawless in every step of the way. We initially worked with Mila, who was responsive, professional and so helpful in helping us decide a menu. Planning a menu and catering for 150 people with different dietary needs but also staying within budget was no easy task. Mila presented us with a few options, and we chose a buffet with both meat and vegetarian options, as well as an antipasto display for cocktail hour. When we went in for the tasting, the food was amazing. We selected the top round, sesame chicken, portobello mushroom pasta, roast veggies, and mashed potatoes for our buffet, but we had such a difficult time deciding what to select because it was all so tasty. For the last three months leading up to the wedding, we ended up working with Bobby Mitchell and he was also phenomenal. When we did the walk through, he answered all of our questions (we had a lot) gave us advice on what would be the best seating arrangements, where to place the buffet, the best table sizes for the setups, and he even helped recommend contrasting colors for a few of the tablecloths and it looked amazing (we are so glad we took his advice!). His knowledge was invaluable and he readily answered the phone when we had questions. Within two weeks of the wedding, I requested a change to the vegetarian option (we ended up going with the butternut squash ravioli) and they were happy to accommodate. We didn’t try it at the tasting, but since the food was delicious, we were confident it would be good. It ended up being a hit at our wedding—people loved the ravioli, which sat on top of spaghetti squash. It was so good—even the non-vegetarians raved about it! On the day of the wedding, POTR knocked it out of the park. They were on time, set up everything flawlessly and efficiently. During our cocktail hour, Bobby brought us up a plate of food from the antipasto display (the tortellini are delicious!) and drinks to make sure we ate. We also heard compliments from the guests that the antipasto was so good and delicious. Also, since our venue was a tight space, we ended up using the same room for the ceremony and the reception. POTR turned it around within an hour. I wish I took photos of the room because it was beautiful! During dinner, Bobby brought us plates of food to make sure we ate, which was invaluable since one of the tips we have gotten several times is to make sure you eat at your wedding. When it came time for clean up, they were the pros. They broke everything down, cleaned it all up, and were done within an hour. Bobby also gave us extra food that was not served (we ordered extra just in case) and he had it packed up neatly and ready for us to go at the end of the night. We couldn’t have asked for a more amazing caterer. Bobby is phenomenal and POTR has delicious food, is professional, and they clearly know what they are doing. I can’t sing their praises enough. If you are looking for an amazing caterer, look no further. POTR will impress you and, true to their name, they will be “putting on the ritz” for you. We are so grateful for POTR making our day extra special!”

“I used Amie for makeup and Kelley for hair and could not have been more pleased! I had a large bridal party so they brought two assistants each for the day of the wedding and all 6 of them were wonderful. I am very picky about makeup (I had never had it done professionally where I had actually liked it prior to my wedding trial) and Amie knew exactly what to do with very limited direction from me. For my hair, I asked for a pretty big change the day of (compared with what was done at my trial) and it was better than I could have expected. Finally, two of my bridesmaids are big into makeup and sat with one of the Amie's assistants for hours during the day asking about products and they have been using some she recommended since! For a vendor that I spent a ton of time researching prior to selecting one, Amie, Kelley, and their team were phenomenal and I would recommend them to anyone, no matter your style or tastes. They may have been slightly higher priced than some of the others I looked at but they were more than worth it - hair and makeup is not something you don't want to be happy with on your wedding day! “Here are some real, unsolicited comments I received from friends on our wedding video from Gold Sky Films: “This has to be the best captured event I’ve seen in video form! Incredible!! I’d like a DVD.” “This made me cry AGAIN!” “Perfect, amazing editing!” Josh and Gold Sky delivered an absolutely stunning video that exceeded our expectations. We initially were on the fence about getting a videographer and didn’t want to spend too much money on it. After doing a decent amount of research on the different options, there was no one who offered such a reasonable price point. For that price, we thought we’d get something fairly basic, but Gold Sky delivered far above what we were expecting! Throughout the process, Josh and team were amazing to work with. They were friendly, professional, and very easy to work with. They even offered helpful suggestions to fine-tune our timeline without ever being pushy. On the wedding day itself, they were very unobtrusive in capturing all the important moments – it didn’t feel like we were filming some big production. When we received the final video, we were completely blown away. The audio and video quality were both so stunning (people even asked if we re-recorded our vows and dubbed them over because they were captured so crisply with such small microphones)! “Amy was the DJ for our November 2024 wedding. As the music sets the vibe, we wanted someone who really understood what we were looking for and understood the music we like and our tastes. After a horrible experience talking with another vendor, we immediately clicked with Amy and felt that she understood what we were looking for (Gay dance pop!). Communication with her was straightforward and simple, and she took our basic playlists for different parts of the night and blended them to reflect our style and set the appropriate mood. She executed the music cues during our outdoor ceremony perfectly which we believe helped to elevate the whole experience. But the star of our experience with her was an amazingly packed and vibrant dance floor for the whole time. “Your guests will leave full and happy. The food is AMAZING. We had people coming up to us and our parents on wedding day asking who catered. We had a lot of vegan and gluten free guests and Classic made sure that they had just as many options as those without the restrictions. Our vegan friends who are used to just picking at salads at every wedding couldn't stop talking about how good everything was, and how they could actually eat it! We worked with Georgetta who helped us at every turn. She made everything perfect and did so much for us, from the time of our first tasting to the very end of the big day. She answered every question and every single email. She was always quick with it and always encouraged us to ask as many questions as we needed to, to feel confident in the process. She worked with our budget and made everything come out better than we could have ever imagined. Classic's wait staff and bartenders were also incredible. My husband requested specific gluten free beers because of an allergy and not only did they pull through with it, but they also poured him one for dinner before he even had to ask. They did the same for me with my favorite cocktail! We felt like A-list celebrities all night. The food is delicious and beautifully presented, and their attention to detail is unmatched. Go to your tastings and give honest feedback! They will make everything exactly how you want it.”

“we absolutely loved working with oak and pearl from start to finish! they were very responsive and communicative from the get go, answering all of our questions and being thorough with getting info from us of what we wanted. we got the legacy collection package which gave us the biggest bang for our buck; they provided so much more than other videographers did for similar pricing, and booking oak and pearl was BEYOND worth it. on the wedding day, they were super professional and did an amazing job of staying hidden and out of the way, so much so that i didn't even realize they were there until i was having my first looks, and apparently they were in the getting ready room with me after i had put my dress on, LOL. even while staying hidden, they still got all of the shots that we wanted. it's clear from watching our videos back that they are highly experienced and know what they're doing. our videos are SO high quality and were delivered in a very timely manner. we are so happy that we booked with oak and pearl to capture our special day, the day goes by so fast and our memories of it are such a blur that having these videos is everything to us because it allows us to relive the day and jogs our own memories of it happening. we could not recommend oak and pearl enough!!”
