“I hired The Polar Peddler for the floral decor for my wedding and I was stunned with how perfectly Dana just 'got' my vision! I asked for jewel tones with an emphasis on varying texture. I didn't have many 'must have' flowers but I did have a few I liked and a few I didn't, and that's all I had to tell her! I had purchased some dyed/dried florals and peacock feathers before I organized with Dana and she was even willing to add these items in for me! When she showed up the morning of, I was astounded at how well she made it look like those elements were part of the plan the entire time. I can't tell you how many compliments that I got on the florals throughout the night and as the bride, having so many of your friends and loved ones complimenting your vendors so highly is such a win! Not to mention the numerous times I was told by basically anyone who communicated with Dana the day of just how sweet and helpful she was! My only regret was not booking the Bloom Bar and having her do even more florals as they were such a hit! My mother in law and aunt even asked to take some of the bouquets home at the end of the night! This vendor was the perfect addition to my day. The Polar Peddler brought my wedding day vision all together with the florals and Dana could not have been more charming to work with from start to finish. “Putting on the Ritz catered our wedding and their food was so good! I worked with Mila and Mindy during the process and thoroughly enjoyed working with them! Guest enjoyed the food (especially the Hors d'oeuvres—those meatballs and cheese/bean quesadillas were gone so quickly lol) ! There was plenty to go around though. And the guests loved the assorted cupcakes (the cake was provided by someone else) and bartending services! There were was internal changes with staffing over the time we hired them to the wedding day, but that did not create any issues. It seemed they had a smooth communication system and everything we agreed on during the tasting was exactly what we had at the wedding. No mistakes, no miscommunications, and any questions that needed clarity were asked and confirmed to myself and my event coordinator. They were timely, their staff was attentive and helpful, were reasonably priced, and they provide all the table clothes, china, silverware/utensils, and drinking glasses (all included and customizable). I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for an event caterer in the area!”

“Here are some real, unsolicited comments I received from friends on our wedding video from Gold Sky Films: “This has to be the best captured event I’ve seen in video form! Incredible!! I’d like a DVD.” “This made me cry AGAIN!” “Perfect, amazing editing!” Josh and Gold Sky delivered an absolutely stunning video that exceeded our expectations. We initially were on the fence about getting a videographer and didn’t want to spend too much money on it. After doing a decent amount of research on the different options, there was no one who offered such a reasonable price point. For that price, we thought we’d get something fairly basic, but Gold Sky delivered far above what we were expecting! Throughout the process, Josh and team were amazing to work with. They were friendly, professional, and very easy to work with. They even offered helpful suggestions to fine-tune our timeline without ever being pushy. On the wedding day itself, they were very unobtrusive in capturing all the important moments – it didn’t feel like we were filming some big production. When we received the final video, we were completely blown away. The audio and video quality were both so stunning (people even asked if we re-recorded our vows and dubbed them over because they were captured so crisply with such small microphones)! The editing was masterfully timed, making the whole video feel like a beautifully cinematic movie trailer. Josh and Gold Sky also provided us with full-length versions of our ceremony and toasts after the wedding when we realized we wanted them. It’s been so special to have those moments to relive. “Amy was the DJ for our November 2024 wedding. As the music sets the vibe, we wanted someone who really understood what we were looking for and understood the music we like and our tastes. After a horrible experience talking with another vendor, we immediately clicked with Amy and felt that she understood what we were looking for (Gay dance pop!). Communication with her was straightforward and simple, and she took our basic playlists for different parts of the night and blended them to reflect our style and set the appropriate mood. She executed the music cues during our outdoor ceremony perfectly which we believe helped to elevate the whole experience. But the star of our experience with her was an amazingly packed and vibrant dance floor for the whole time. We got so many compliments on the music and everyone from our friends to coworkers and older relatives had a great time. One of our requests was to play a ton of Chappell Roan and Amy delivered, including a (potentially original?) dance mix of Pink Pony Club that was honestly transcendent. She even played a special song for a plushie toss (it’s a story) without our prompting. “Your guests will leave full and happy. The food is AMAZING. We had people coming up to us and our parents on wedding day asking who catered. We had a lot of vegan and gluten free guests and Classic made sure that they had just as many options as those without the restrictions. Our vegan friends who are used to just picking at salads at every wedding couldn't stop talking about how good everything was, and how they could actually eat it! We worked with Georgetta who helped us at every turn. She made everything perfect and did so much for us, from the time of our first tasting to the very end of the big day. She answered every question and every single email. She was always quick with it and always encouraged us to ask as many questions as we needed to, to feel confident in the process. She worked with our budget and made everything come out better than we could have ever imagined. Classic's wait staff and bartenders were also incredible. My husband requested specific gluten free beers because of an allergy and not only did they pull through with it, but they also poured him one for dinner before he even had to ask. They did the same for me with my favorite cocktail! We felt like A-list celebrities all night. The food is delicious and beautifully presented, and their attention to detail is unmatched. “we absolutely loved working with oak and pearl from start to finish! they were very responsive and communicative from the get go, answering all of our questions and being thorough with getting info from us of what we wanted. we got the legacy collection package which gave us the biggest bang for our buck; they provided so much more than other videographers did for similar pricing, and booking oak and pearl was BEYOND worth it. on the wedding day, they were super professional and did an amazing job of staying hidden and out of the way, so much so that i didn't even realize they were there until i was having my first looks, and apparently they were in the getting ready room with me after i had put my dress on, LOL. even while staying hidden, they still got all of the shots that we wanted. it's clear from watching our videos back that they are highly experienced and know what they're doing. our videos are SO high quality and were delivered in a very timely manner. we are so happy that we booked with oak and pearl to capture our special day, the day goes by so fast and our memories of it are such a blur that having these videos is everything to us because it allows us to relive the day and jogs our own memories of it happening. we could not recommend oak and pearl enough!!”

We spoke to Zach over the phone initially to get to know one another, and it was so easy to connect with him and discuss our musical tastes. We were immediately on the same wavelength, and we could tell his style was a perfect match for what we were looking for - Zach is super easy to get along with, if you speak he will listen, and he will also provide his advice drawing on his immense experience. We trusted him to run the entire show. The music was perfect from beginning to end drawing on different genres (classic, jazz, motown, funk, pop, hip hop, etc.) and transitioning just how we wanted throughout the evening. Zach also has amazing presence on the mic and a skillful ability to read crowds to get the party going and keep it going.
