Lily Bean Bakery started as a curious venture into Macaron making. After a devastating first time failure, I grew obsessed with getting it right. This turned into a vast passion of making beautiful, tasty Macarons of all flavors and colors. Dorothy Ann Bakery is a full line retail bakery located in Woodbury, Minnesota. Our second generation family owned and operated bakery has been in the Twin Cities area for the past 70 years specializing in creating beautiful cakes, cupcakes, and desserts for all occasions.

Coming from an Italian family, I inherited the baking genes. I started making cheesecakes 15 years ago. It started out as a challenge to see if I could do it, and once I mastered that, I decided to expand into different flavors. I brought cheesecakes to family functions and my mom would always say that they were "too rich" or "too much". I changed to making them into bars so she could have a smaller piece and it wouldn't be too much. Once I found mini cheesecake pans, my life was made! After being encouraged by my friends and family to start my own business, I took the leap and did it. 6 years later, I am still enjoying it.
