“We booked Collins Entertainment for our October wedding at the Interlaken Inn in Lakeville, CT. We had an unbelievably amazing experience with this company from the top to the bottom. My guests left saying he was the best DJ they've ever seen at a wedding for how many hits he put out. He was able to read the crowd really well, and knew how to get everyone on the dance floor. I did not have a DJ or a Photographer and honestly was considering just something small scale, until I talked to Ed from DJ Double E. I would give them 10 stars out 5. From the minute I talked to Ed it was a breath of fresh air from the million other outrageously priced DJ's. The price is unbeatable but that's not why I would recommend them. They are absolutely phenomenal and made my entire wedding. The music was perfect from ceremony to the last dance. They were so professional, so involved and so fun. We had a daytime (early) wedding. It is so challenging to get people up and have a good time at 12:30 in the afternoon, I was having meltdowns about it, they reassured me but had the entire place up and having fun. You didn't know if it was day or night. They helped us more than the attendants at the venue. Over 100 guests said how amazing they were. The pictures they took could not be any better. Any other DJ who had packages like this (photo booth etc...) were THOUSANDS, yes THOUSANDS, more!!! I really hate to admit but I'm not easily pleased however I would put my name on the line for DJ Double E after how they made my wedding. DJ Double E exceeded all my and my husband's expectations and -consider yourself lucky if you hire them for any event. I'll be calling them again!!!”

Arthur did a great job with the ceremony and cocktail hour, and managed a tricky parent dance section (multiple sets of parents & timing!) We requested a Taylor Swift mashup and he exceeded expectations and made it the highlight of our night. The dance floor was always packed, and Arthur did a great job of taking into account our requests while playing music everyone would enjoy. We opted to use uplighting as well, which looked beautiful during dinner (we chose a warm lighting) and was so fun for the dance floor with flashing lights. By the end of the night, he even had guests asking him to travel to Texas to DJ their wedding! What truly sets this quartet apart is their ability to adapt and perform flawlessly even under difficult circumstances. Despite receiving no support or direction from our wedding planner (who was unexpectedly absent during the ceremony), the quartet showed remarkable poise and professionalism. When sudden rain threatened to disrupt the proceedings, they seamlessly adjusted without missing a beat. Even when timeline issues arose - again due to the missing planner - they demonstrated incredible flexibility and kept the musical program flowing beautifully. The musical performance itself was nothing short of magical. Their renditions of our chosen songs were deeply moving, perfectly capturing the emotion of each moment. The way they performed our most cherished pieces brought tears to many eyes, including our own. Their technical skill was evident in every note, but it was their ability to infuse each piece with genuine feeling that made their performance truly outstanding. We cannot emphasize enough how grateful we are for their presence on our special day. We have been performing as a band since 2003, when Jordan Shapiro formed the band with some close musician friends in Brooklyn, NY. We have an extensive songlist of over 300 songs, drawing from all styles of music, including traditional folk/bluegrass, as well as classic rock, pop, jazz and country.
