“Kolena & her team at Blue Sapphire Events are STELLAR. My husband and I have hectic jobs and I am an evening student which meant we needed all the help we could get to plan our wedding! In stepped Kolena, who helped us design, plan, and execute the most perfect day. We wanted to put up a sailcloth tent and hold our entire event outside at a family member's home. That involved bringing in EVERYTHING - the tents, the tables & chairs, the bars, the plates & glassware, the restroom trailers! and so much more. Kolena managed everything for us - from vendor sourcing to rental coordination to the burdensome permitting process for the tent. She was onsite for every site visit, the tent/rental setup, the rehearsal, and the day itself. From the very beginning, Kolena was capable, calm, and so thoughtful. We were married in May but I don't like pinks & pastels (your traditional spring wedding palettes). Without missing a beat, Kolena designed a gorgeous, lush green & white palette with black accents. She listens and really understands her clients -- it felt so US. Because our event was at a private property, we couldn't accommodate parking for our guests. I was particularly worried about ensuring the shuttles were reliable & ready for our guests. Kolena handled the entire process - from sourcing different quotes through the contract process and on the day-of to make sure everything went smoothly. On the day of our wedding, Kolena seamlessly helmed a vendor team of close to 25 people. She brilliantly suggested we put ponchos on guest chairs, in case it started to rain during our ceremony (it did) and transitioned our cocktail hour from outdoors to under the reception tent at lightning speed. As you can see, I have endless good things to say about Kolena & her team at Blue Sapphire Events. She works harder than almost anyone I've met, she's creative, she truly cares about every one of her clients, and I'm so, so grateful that she lent us her talents to make our wedding day perfect!”

“We hired Swept for our October 2022 wedding. They were very professional and made the process very easy to schedule their services. Jaime, the owner, was perfect to work with. I had 5 bridesmaids, and 3 parents/grandparents needed hair and makeup services. When one of our bridesmaids passed away, Jaime was perfect and patient with us for changing the amount of people needing services. Then closer to the wedding date, before final payment, I had some bridal party want to add services on, and some didn’t need services anymore. Jaime was so amazing and adapted our contract to any changes that needed to happen. She was such an angel in the stress of wedding planning. When we scheduled my trial, I still wasn’t 100% sure what my wedding look was going to be. Sarah did my makeup, and I told her I wanted a more natural look. She came up with the most perfect natural glam look that I loved! Ciarrah did my hair. I showed her multiple inspiration pictures that were similar hairstyles, and explained I honestly wasn’t sure which one I should do for my fine hair type. She was so kind, and willing to try different options to find the perfect one. Her first hairstyle pic was the winner but it still didn’t feel perfect. She suggested letting some hair hang out of the bun, and it was so beautiful! Wedding day, we had all the bridesmaids stay the night in an air bnb to make everything easier in the morning. Sarah and Ciarrah were so efficient and had everybody done before the latest time they could be done. Everyone looked gorgeous! We had music playing that made it such a fun atmosphere on my wedding day! I felt like a princess! They both made me look and feel so beautiful on my wedding day! Perfect company to hire! Jaime is also able to switch hair stylists or makeup artists if it’s not a match at your trial. Kelton provided an extensive list of potential songs to play in a shared Google Document with columns for “play” and “do not play” which was great. Also, I was impressed that he attended the walk through of the Whittemore House a month prior to the wedding, asking pertinent questions of the Whittemore staff about the placement of various things and how best to provide the sound amplification that would be needed. He provided wireless mics which worked really well for the toasts. Kelton did a great job as the master of ceremony and his mix of the selected music was fun and fabulous. He had the crowd dancing, rocking to the music. Many of the older folks told me that they hadn’t danced in years but were having lots of fun doing so then.
