I’m Pete, a Boston-based wedding videographer. I was born and raised in Houston, Texas and moved to Boston in 2021. I’ve always had a passion for film and received my formal training at the New York Film Academy in 2010. My wife and I, married for nearly ten years, regret not having a film made of our own wedding. This, along with my deep-seated interest in filmmaking, galvanized us to start Tulip Productions as a way to serve other couples.

They were so professional. They contacted the venue to work out logistics, and they contacted my photographer to coordinate shots. Day of the wedding came and they showed up bright and early, and they got along with my family so well! The video was beautiful. It had everyone in tears. They care about what they are doing. They understand how much this video means to you. Don't leave it to just anyone to capture the most important day of your life.

Ana Lievore - Wedding & Family Photographer

5.0

  • Photographer
  • Classic style
  • Starts at $1,500

I’m Ana Lievore, Brazilian, lively and talkative! For 10 years, I have been telling love stories through my photographs on Brazil. I recently arrived in Boston and I’m looking foward to being able to do the same here! It will be wonderful to be part of your story and I really want you to be part of mine.

Ana stepped in to be our photographer 3 days before our wedding. We were so worried about the fact that our original photographer had cancelled, we really just wanted to make sure we had someone to capture our special day and Ana was spoken about as the best photographer by our videographer. He said the only barrier that there may be, is that we do not fluently speak each others languages. Our videographer assisted with the communication, but it truly was not a problem; and if anything goes to show you how talented she truly is, being able to capture two people as they interact. Making the posing feel more natural and the photos more authentic. She knew exactly what we were looking for and she just gave us some guidance along the way, showing us what she wanted (like reminding me to stand up straight). She was so enthusiastic and set the day off to a good start in taking initiative to take photos of the dress and all the small items we brought before we were at the venue so that we would not stress about getting them all done. You could tell how into her work she was and how she wanted to get just the right shots. She captured the list of photos that we wanted and was also able to suggest some we had not thought of. She and the videographer were phenomenal when it came to our first look, we saw some sneak peaks and it means so much to us that one of the most special moments was captured so well - and we cannot wait to see the final photos and have them for the rest of our life. At the end of the day, Ana was reliable, very kind, she was dedicated to our wedding and over the moon talented. We are so grateful that our original photographer cancelled, the stress of that was worth having Ana join us in the long run. If we ever need a photographer in the future we will absolutely be reaching out to her, and will recommending her to all of our friends. We could not be more grateful for what we have seen this far and more excited to see the rest.

Cambridge Boat Club

5.0

CAMBRIDGE, MA

  • Up to 120 guests

Cambridge Boat Club is a social and rowing club, located on the banks of the Charles River overlooking Eliot Bridge. Originally built in 1909, CBC was picked up in its entirety and rolled upstream to its current location in 1947, to make room for the building of Memorial Drive. Featuring vaulted ceilings and dark exposed beams akin to a ski chalet, and double french doors opening to a full length veranda, CBC offers a unique, rustic setting for any event.

The Cambridge Boat Club was the perfect choice for our New England fall-themed wedding! It is an absolutely gorgeous location on the river with just the right amount of historic charm. We had originally considered going with all-inclusive venues, but ultimately opted for the flexibility we had with the CBC to craft our own vision. The venue features two distinct rooms, a larger room called the Drinkwater room, which can be used for the wedding dinner, the Club Room, which was used for cocktail hour and the dance floor, and a porch, which has a stunning view. The layout perfectly accommodated both the party enthusiasts and our more introverted guests, who preferred quieter spaces for rest and socialization away from the dance floor. Opting for this venue requires a more DIY approach compared to all-inclusive options. Since it is a historic building, there are some restrictions to be aware of, e.g. no sparklers or ceiling drapery, and existing wall decor generally need to stay on the wall. This was no issue for us since we had a clear vision for the wedding theme and decor, and enlisted the help of Tastings Catering (highly recommend, since they have previous experience working in this space and also handle some of the decor) and Designlight. Major shoutout to Katie Donnelly, the club manager at Cambridge Boat Club, who always responded in record time to all our inquiries and provided helpful guidance. With everyone's help, we were able to create the wedding of our dreams!
