Hi! I’m Sydney. Looking at life through a lens has always helped me make sense of the world. I’m a documentary-style photographer deeply inspired by film, who searches for the small moments and the in-between of daily life. Whether it’s your wedding day or an afternoon at home, I strive to capture moments you can breathe life into and cherish for years to come. My main goal as your photographer is to make you feel comfortable in front of the camera so we can produce beautiful images together. I can't wait to hear what you have planned.

Sydney photographed our 15 person wedding this summer. She was a ray of joy from the second she arrived and made everyone feel so at ease. She was making us laugh and feel confident the whole day, so every one of our pictures looks so natural and joyful. My aunt who lives in Brooklyn asked if she would consider travelling to NYC since she wanted Sydney to photograph her work events in the future! She is such a pleasure to have around on a big day while still being very profeessional. The pictures are wonderful, and we are so happy to have them for the rest of our life!

Tulip Productions

  • Cinematic style
  • Starts at $1,500

I’m Pete, a Boston-based wedding videographer. I was born and raised in Houston, Texas and moved to Boston in 2021. I’ve always had a passion for film and received my formal training at the New York Film Academy in 2010. My wife and I, married for nearly ten years, regret not having a film made of our own wedding. This, along with my deep-seated interest in filmmaking, galvanized us to start Tulip Productions as a way to serve other couples.

Pete is fantastic to work with. Very easy going as a person, which makes everyone at ease while around him. His attention to detail is amazing and it shows in his final work. He makes it look effortless and produces a beautiful cinematic quality film to be enjoyed for years to come. Cannot recommend Tulip Productions enough!

I’m Ana Lievore, Brazilian, lively and talkative! For 10 years, I have been telling love stories through my photographs on Brazil. I recently arrived in Boston and I’m looking foward to being able to do the same here! It will be wonderful to be part of your story and I really want you to be part of mine.

I found Ana on Instagram and fell in love with her photos. We scheduled a meeting to meet each other, and I had no doubts: She was going to be my wedding photographer. Ana is passionate about photography and it was possible to feel that in the first minutes of conversation. She does her job with lots of love and dedication. My husband and I knew exactly what we wanted in the photos and Ana was just perfect. During the ceremony, she was discreet and attentive to capture every moment. At the party, she mingled with the guests and didn't miss a single smile. The result was much better than we expected. A dream come true. Ana captured all the special moments. Many smiles, several tears of happiness. It was beautiful to see our love in the form of a photograph. I am forever grateful for Ana's incredible work. Would recommend a thousand times!

Cambridge Boat Club

5.0

CAMBRIDGE, MA
  • Venue
  • Up to 120 guests
  • Raw space
  • Indoor & outdoor
  • Starts at $4,000

Cambridge Boat Club is a social and rowing club, located on the banks of the Charles River overlooking Eliot Bridge. Originally built in 1909, CBC was picked up in its entirety and rolled upstream to its current location in 1947, to make room for the building of Memorial Drive. Featuring vaulted ceilings and dark exposed beams akin to a ski chalet, and double french doors opening to a full length veranda, CBC offers a unique, rustic setting for any event.

Why you'll love this venue

  • Multiple event spaces
  • Raw space for complete customization
  • Has a dance floor to dance the night away

Venue considerations

  • Does not allow pets
  • No on-site guest accommodations
  • Couple must handle cleanup and setup
The Cambridge Boat Club was the perfect choice for our New England fall-themed wedding! It is an absolutely gorgeous location on the river with just the right amount of historic charm. We had originally considered going with all-inclusive venues, but ultimately opted for the flexibility we had with the CBC to craft our own vision. The venue features two distinct rooms, a larger room called the Drinkwater room, which can be used for the wedding dinner, the Club Room, which was used for cocktail hour and the dance floor, and a porch, which has a stunning view. The layout perfectly accommodated both the party enthusiasts and our more introverted guests, who preferred quieter spaces for rest and socialization away from the dance floor. Opting for this venue requires a more DIY approach compared to all-inclusive options. Since it is a historic building, there are some restrictions to be aware of, e.g. no sparklers or ceiling drapery, and existing wall decor generally need to stay on the wall. This was no issue for us since we had a clear vision for the wedding theme and decor, and enlisted the help of Tastings Catering (highly recommend, since they have previous experience working in this space and also handle some of the decor) and Designlight. Major shoutout to Katie Donnelly, the club manager at Cambridge Boat Club, who always responded in record time to all our inquiries and provided helpful guidance. With everyone's help, we were able to create the wedding of our dreams!
